TPS HGT Gloves

Recommended Posts

I would like to try a pair of HGT gloves, I did have a few quesitons though, seeing as I can't seem to find them at any LHS around here. I have been using Easton gloves for the last few years, and an Easton 14" fits me perfectly. Would a 14" TPS glove be about the same? Is the HGT glove a tight fitting glove, or is it more on the lose side. For anyone that has used them, how do you like them?

i switched from 14" ultra lite pro gloves to tps hgt's in 14" and they fit the same. i love the hgt's, one of the best gloves i've ever put on, and will stick with them till the grave. the fit is similar, but i found my hgt's have become looser fitting the more i've used them. i'm on my 3rd year, and they're on par with an eagle glove right now, just because all the liner inside's been crushed and broken down. i definitely recommend them, and i'll be getting a 2nd pair soon, hopefully a full nylon pair, even if i have to custom order them.

Yes,they fit the same length. But the HGT are a tighter fitting glove.

If you want a Cable Knit(Nylon) version of the HGT,contact Pure Hockey( http://purehockey.com ).I got a real nice pair for $50 ,I thought they were SMU for them, but the tag on the inside said Pro Return Florida(So I got a custom NHL glove for cheaper than some Low-End gloves).

pure hockey is defently the best hockey store i'v ever been at. got nice furys for 35 bucks.....

Probably because nobody will pay full retail for them and stores are giving them away.

I find the HGT to be a relatively tight-fitting glove. Not too tight though, they're comfortable.

I loved my R2s, I'll probably be ordering some new TPS gloves as a birthday present to myself. The stock sizes of HGTs don't fit.

I just bought a pair of HGNST gloves. They look the same. Feel awesome and got a great deal.

I think those are the National Sports SMUs...they're pretty good, light, but don't have inserts, right?

I have Nylon HGTs, and I also think that they are tighter fitting - not Vapor IV/XX/XXX, but comfortably snug. Although, I do like the Vapor snugness as well...mmm...snug gloves...

You got that right $45.00. Best fitting/feeling gloves I've ever wore.

By the way do you play ball hockey in the YCBHL?

I emailed them and a guy just did the searching for me. I let him know what I was looking for and in a couple days he had pooled what he could from their stores.

is there any other online retailers, preferably canadian, that stock nylon hgt's?

I have seen them at Just Hockey Source for Sports on Don Mills Rd. in Toronto. Not an online store but they will ship if you call the store and order over the phone. I believe they carry black and navy.
