Warrior "Starskie"

Recommended Posts

Good curve but that is easily the worst-looking stick I've ever seen. I know gfx shouldn't matter but...christ.

Look at the bright side, in 30 years there's going to be a "buddy christ" OPS. Obviously it will only come in pattern 37.

That one is lime green. I've seen a few now though (Sanderson, Comrie, maybe even Roberts) that were bright yellow. Is this just a color scheme difference or a completely different stick?

I'll tell you, Warrior is doing well by changing all these sticks and colors. Definately sparking market interest. But everntually they are gonna have to settle down on color schemes. Kids in pro-shops are gonna want the EXACT stick So-and-So is using, and if they keep changing colors on the Pros' sticks, people will think they aren't getting what the pros have.

I just get this in an email from Hockey Monkey.

Draper - Similar to Iginla

Smyth - Similar to Sakic

Fedorov - Similar to Modano/Forseberg

Kovalev - Similar to Drury

i was at perani's today and they got their starskies in today. the starskies are specialy paint job 1100s. the dolamite is also an 1100 with a better made blade. they also changed the flex rating to 85 and 100.

i also talked to a gal at inno and got hte following info:

starskie is avaiable in 4 patterns: draper, fedorov, kovalev, and symth.

the dolomite and mack daddy will offer the following: draper, fedorov, kovalev, symth, weight (mogilny), robatille (mccarty), and jovonowski.

they also are produceing a price point stick called royale, following patterns, draper, weight, symth, fedorov.

all blades are going to ba avaiable in tapered. only weight, jovonowski, draper, kovalev, and fedorov will be standard hosel.

look for warrior gloves in the spring/ summer of '06.

hopes this helps

If any righty's want to get their hands on a Mack Daddy..................

http://cgi.ebay.com/WARRIOR-ONE-PIECE-GRAP...1QQcmdZViewItem

Is that the Kovalev?

It looks like a Drury/YP on 'roids, eh? IDK, I kinda like it...

I think it's a pro-stock.

I know, I was thinking maybe that's the Kovalev, since it looks a hell of a lot like a Drury/YP with most curve to it.

I seriously hope that is the Kovalev... a bigger Drury = $$$

new to retail:

symth, very little curve, possibly heel if i remember correctly

draper: i have one and will describe, 1/2" mid, open, not sure of lie.

i'm sorry i didn't get better info for all of you. i was feeding my son (2yrs old) lunch and talking to the gal at the same time. if i had had more time i would have aked these question for all of you.
