Cheechoo 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 the way easton is written in big sickens me, the rest is fine though Everything manufactured by Easton now has an massive-ass, IN-YOUR-FACE logo on it now. It's such an eyesore on their gloves - it just looks disproportionate. Yeah, but now everyone in the rink will know what brand you're wearing. And more importantly, everyone watching NHL games on TV can see what brand the players are using. But that can backfire too: I find that broken Vapor XXX lites lying on the ice are very easy to spot - the half lying in one corner is all white and the half lying in the other corner is black and neon green. supahdon 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Picked up the Ultra Lite (110 flex) with the new paint job at HockeyGiant last Sunday for $69. Haven't used it yet, still debating if I want to keep it or give it as a gift.......but in case you were interested in picking it up, a few have popped out (I bought the last one that HockeyGiant had in store). Except for the big E logo...
hurricane 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 Thanks Jr for the catalog, Easton protective gear looks good, I wonder how it feels? The pants look like the synergy 900 and the 900's look like my Air hp's. You guys are right the sticks don't look as good, But mine always look like hell after a month anyways. I need new gloves, I have some old airs, almost purchased the synergy 1300's but I think I am going to wait to see how well the stealth gloves feel they look good. tokes 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 Also, the new Stealth CNT is listed at 410 grams. Is it really heavier or did they lie a little bit less about the weight? My old Stealth was about 410 grams. Maybe they're just getting honest, who knows.

Neo5370 132 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 Does easton do custom skates? I know I've seen marcelo's posted before but I didn't know if the regular joe could get them. Not interested in much else besides custom sizing and an extra long traditional felt tongue. blues_91 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 I still think the gloves from the Easton custom program are their nicest gloves. I'm glad my LHS ordered them for their shop I plan on buying them when my Eagles are shot. I'm wondering though, why the 800s have the coil and the 900s don't?Or atleast that's what it says in the catalogue.
Deathmoves 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 I really like the look of the new Ultra lite shafts! Might have to pic up 2!! :D

Because the 800c is composite and the 900 isn't. Edited December 5, 2005 by forsberg91
Benchboy 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 No Gaborik curve for the Stealth!I had to change from Shanny to Gaborik, now what?
Project_2501 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2005 Yzerman is Gaborik, only with 6 lie instead of 5.5. If you can deal with that, then there's your curve.
Benchboy 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2005 There is no Yzerman pattern available for the Sr Stealth.Easton changed the senior Yzerman curve to the Gaborik curve this year and changed the lie.
Reaper 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2005 Anyone have a picture or description of the P23 curve? They offer it on a few sticks but don't show it in their blade chart.

It seemed like HockeyGiant only got a couple of the new ones in, and I got the last one. I'll probably combo it with a RBK 5k blade! A good looking stick will cover up my lack of ability :P
