- Yzerman Practice Used Stealth auto'd (my aunt works with disabled kids, and they got to go behind the scenes tour of JLA, and meet the Wings after practice. My aunt mentioned to Yzerman that he is my favourite player. He went back into the room, brought out the busted Stealth (on the blade) signed the shaft, and gave it to her for me. She has a nice photo of him signing it)

I recently made a casing for everything. It's nice. Has the photo up top, jersey below it displaying autograph, stick coming across the jersey diagonal, and the puck right in front of the stick blade. I made it out of wood and plexiglass with some help from my dad.

Chicago Blackhawks autographed jersey, 92-93 team I think. My dad knew someone on the team so he got me the jersey when I was three, all it does is sit in my closet.

Kirk Maltby, signed things to do tomorrow piece of paper. ;) My friend's grandpa owns a pitch and put in Cambridge and they knew he was coming in so my friend's mom got him to sign the papers for my friend and I.

Corey Locke, signed Hockey News from when he was pictured in some shootout article. I have had the subscription for years and when my dad saw the picture he thought it would be cool to have it signed because he does business with his dad. I got some other stuff from him but none of it is autographed, pair of HGT gloves that he couldn't wear in games and a Response + that he couldn't get used to.

That's it for me that I can remember, not big on autographs considering I have met Wayna Gretzky and Paul McCartney yet have nothing to show for it.

I had my picture taken with Mike Eruzione after the '80 Olympics, and he signed my copy of 'Miracle On Ice' on the picture of him in the game vs. the Soviets.

Also, I have autographs of about half of the '77-'78 North Stars on a straight-blade Sher-Wood. They came to my parents' curling club (I have no recollection as to why) and I pestered them all.

I'm not a huge autograph guy but I have a couple dozen auto'd baseballs my father gave me. The only auto's thing I really have on display is the bobby orr picture in Jason's avatar. My father was working for a company that Bobby Orr was endorsing and he got that pic personalized for me.

Old topic, thought Id share though.

A teammate told us the story in the lockerroom last night at tryouts :

Him and his friend were flying up to Canada for the week. They thought they saw Sidney Crosby on the plane but didnt really know. So they sat like 4 seats back and sorta called/whispered "sidney". The person did look back.

So when flight was over that guy reaches up for his bag and his forearms are like the size of my friends neck. Thats when they realized it was Sidney Crosby. They were shocked and got him to sign their plane tickets. HA

Said he was a cool guy. Although he wasnt with any like body guards they could tell of.
