aright im just wonderin what kinda cars you guys had or hav whne you first got ur license and whjat is like a decent car for a new driver to hav

the reason why im askin is cuz my parents only waqnt to spend like less than 4 grand on a car for me whcih i think pretty much gets you a piece of shit

even though i am savin money to put subs and an amp in it as soon as possible

I got a Honda Civic Hatchback 01 last year, it was officially my first car. I haven't put anything in it, I already had the spoiler, mags, cd player and A/C in it. It was a special edition because it was supposed to be the last year that they made the official hatchback and went to the SIR.

my dad was nice enough to squeeze out 1000 for me and my mom maybe like 200. I havent gotten a car yet cause im trying to get the best one possible but basically ive got like 1500

But I hate those rich pricks driving the brand new bmw's and what not with freakin wind sheild wipers on your headlights. we're high school kids and theyve got like $50,000 cars.

I got my license in 98, so my first car (84 Honda Accord) was 15 years old when I got it, but it was solid and got around fine so I couldn't complain. The stereo will be nice to have, but don't expect the nicest ride ever. 4 grand will probably get you into something decent, I only had 1500 to work with at first and did alright.

i got a g35 for my first car. I guess I am very lucky. I have since gotten rid of it, and currently drive a CTS-V. I am currently looking into selling the V and buying a used Maserati Coupe. They arent as expensive as they sound. You can get one with about 20k miles for under 40k

I was going to mention the massively high maintainance costs on a Maserati, but if your parents can afford to buy you a G35 and a CTS-V then I don't think maintainance on a Maserati should be too much of a problem.

I was going to be getting a second gen AWD DSM this year after school, but I decided to save my money and go to Europe instead.

my first car (which I got in may 04) was a 1985 toyota camry, shit brown in color. After I dropped the tranny out of it a year later, my grandparents bought me a 1993 saturn for 4000, which I am trying to pay them back for slowly but surely (repairs have me now owing them over 6k)

I can get my G2 in around 2 months May 26th ish.. and right now i get the car that my 2 brothers grew out of.. a 1995 Neon Sport its black and looks alright, and still have the system that they left in it which is pretty good i guess..so im kinda lucky!

i'm looking at buying a 1989-1990 honda prelude or CRX. even though i'll only have my L, i may buy one this summer or just wait until a year from now. but i'm stoked on it. i already have 1500 in stocks and will earn around 2 grand in the next two months if i'm lucky. my budget right now is around 3000 CDN.. honda's are reliable as f*ck though and even their older models don't look out of date. good on gas too.

My first car was a 1988 Chevy Suburban. It was 11 years old when my parents let me drive it as a 16 year old. It was the rustiest car I have ever seen and got the worst gas mileage of any car ever made, but I loved it. I was lucky to get 11 mpg, and it used at least a quart of oil with every fill-up.

ohhh, dont get me wrong, I love my V. But there are just some things I dont love. I have had countless problems with the rear diff, and wheel hop problems. The dealers have been great, but its just so inconvient. I also want a more luxurious car, and something with a little more sex appeal. Plus come on, Ferrari Engine :)
