Hockey isn't my only sport.. in fact, its not even my best sport.

I have played soccer my entire life (gradeschool through college, now competitively for a travel league.) Its my true passion. I will post up pics from newspapers I have been in and articles about teams I have been on later tonight or tomorrow morning.

You want me to set you up with some indoor and outdoor games when you make it over?

Paintballing is not a sport.

i beg to differ. unless you are familiar with competative paintball, don't talk. Don't get me started.

The serious players here feel the same way actually. I didn't want to venture into disagreeing with kosydar as I was a neophyte with regard to Paintball.

In this part of the world, the Paintball tournaments draw more International teams than Ice Hockey tournaments do. Go figure.

Golf and wiffleball. Used to wrestle until high school. All the stuff about starving yourself to get lighter really turned me off.

QFT, but I'd also toss golf in there so what do I know?

I played soccer and hurling as a kid, then baseball through college. A couple years of football were in there till I realised I didn't like my collarbone coming out of my skin.

okay define sport. paintball requires you to be an athlete and think more than most sports out there. Probably the most adrenaline filled sport out there also. I don't see how you cannot consider it a sport.

yes exaclty

in paintballing you have to run alot to get into new postions to shot people and you have to run to avoide getting hit

it also requires a great deal of stratagey

telling a guy that piaintball isnt a sport is like telling a girl cheerleading isnt a sport

Okay, if it's a 'sport' it's in the same group that synchronised swimming and power walking is in.

It's not a sport by my definition either, it's an athletic activity at best. That isn't meant to demean the activity or the participants, it's just reality. There's nothing wrong with enjoying an activity that isn't a sport.

im not good at it, but i think it is very fun. played in 96 degree weather for 6 hours, 1 bottle of water,a sandwhich and a bag of chips os all i had. i lost 3 pounds. but anyway it takes a lot of wits, and is very fast and athletic game weather it is a sport or not.

How do you lot get the time? With my schooling, i barely have time for hockey. Unless it's put into ayour curriculum at school. Or you have very light work hours ;)

P.s. im surprised no-one has attempted to put modsquading as a sport in its own right

I don't consider golf a sport either, much more of a skill. I will admit that I don't appreciate paintball at all, so take that for what its worth. I've never done it, mainly because I think it doesn't look fun/cool/whatever.
