How MSH has changed your life?

Recommended Posts

Of course most of us have gotten TONS of information about equipment here that otherwise we probably wouldn't know. Besides that how has MSH changed your life?

Personally, I've noticed that all this knowledge that I've aquired has led me to be more picky about my equipment. It has also lead to me being dragged along with friends to look potential equipment for them(since obviously I'm now an expert :P ). One other thing I noticed was on another forum(a large local forum) someone said something about "a special ops mission" and I immediately thought "Mission has a new special OPS? Must be talking about the camo one..." after that thought passed I realized what he was really saying.

Any of you guys have similar experiences?

Obviously I've learned a hell of a lot more about equipment and stuff. I definitely don't look at hockey gear the same way anymore. I'll also throw out the obligatory I've met a lot of cool people on here because its the truth. Tons of cool guys (and a few girls) are on here, even though it seems like the tools are ones who speak up more. That has been the best thing, without a doubt. MSH has also given me a place to love my Leafs and bitch about Crosby.

It made me a gear whore :P But it's a good site and I've dragged a few friends onto here to, and I would have never bought any Mission gear if I had never read about it on here, and prob still be wearing skates 2 sizes to big.

I haven't bought a single piece of equipment that wasn't worth it, after joining MSH.

Saved alot of money, and learned alot of things, making my equipment fit my style of play better. B)

Actually MSH stopped making me a gear whore or stick whore to be precise. Asked questions got answers now I have found my perfect setup. Besides that spending some time laughing my ass off about some of the stuff in the misc. section and also the benereal hockey and nhl sections :D Also met someone on here who´s living like 30 minutes from my place. What are the odds of doing this if you consider the amount of germans on here?

Mack provides me with nonstop giggles everyday.

Besides that, i get tons of instant messages from people i dont even know, asking for a "hook up" to get free prostock equipment.

of course the "changed your life" thing was a little exaggeration...

I've also noticed that whenever anyone really has a question about something they ask me and I can (of course) find the answer on here.

Learned lots about hockey equipement of course, great bunch of guys and gals around here, neat to bring everybody's hockey experience all together. Makes one fun environment.

People used to come to me for equipment advice before MSH. It's only gotten worse since I joined. I've definitely learned a lot about equipment and am more likely to try out gear from some of the smaller companies, as I've seen testimonials that some of it is really good stuff.
