Easton reps are not in-house; they are independent contractors.

However, it's pretty much like that across the board, which is why I've managed to piss off more than a few sales reps over the years, because I'll have specs, pics and sometimes even the product before they have ever seen it.

Sorry to highjack this thread but do you think the one90s wil be out for a while before being replaced?

I know the xxx were out for a couple of years before the one90s came out.

And if the one90s are gonna be replaced do you think the new xxxx will be better then them

Im pretty sure the one90s will be the top skate next year, but i can see them making adjustments, as all the people i have spoke to have complained about pains from them, and if its a common problem, they will adjust it.

As for the skates, i agree ugly, but the synergy skates fit my feet so well if they are the same shape, ill end up with them.

OR....Would easton make a new line to go with the synergies? But a different shape, like bauer with vapors and supremes?

A new bar's been set - 700 g.

700 just seems too light there has to be a threshold somewhere, it's impossible for the weight to keep decreasing so rapidly, but until that threshold is found this is the trend.

yeah thats way too light in a couple of years they will be the same weight as high end composite sticks

Anybody see the Synergy carbon display? It's the skate with only the carbone one piece with the weights....I think the 1500c was about 745g. It's pretty neat to see just the shell and feel how light it is....makes me think that the new skate has saved weight in other places.
