Pro stock mission blades

Recommended Posts

anyone received RH woddies in heel patterns yet? I'm looking for something close to retail Spezza or Ribiero, 5 or 5.5 lie heel open but not quite Drury corkscrew open

edit: and how tacky is the grip on the grip shafts?

Check back a few pages, I posted a few heels, though the lie is a bit higher than what you're looking for. Best bet is to just order 2 or 3 and try to trade for something better.

What shafts are you talking about? The Mission L-2, VHex, Fuel and all those? It all depends on what the pro wants. It probably varies from texture to having a little friction coating that just inhibits slide all the way up to a heavy tacky coat that won't let your glove go. That's why pro stocks are a crap shoot without inspection.

I like that Lang you got, but I'm looking at the wood blades and not the comps. The Boyes, Paris and Preissing all fit the "heel, open, round toe" but that's about all it gives.

I know someone pages back ordered a couple of these patterns. Christmas has unfortunately left me very little "exploratory funds" to take a ton of gambles looking for what works. I thought someone else ordered a V-Hex2 grip Boyes. Hopefully people start getting these soon and want to share pics and feedback

I got a Brad Boyes CCM wood blade. Its an open heel curve. I can take a picture of that for you, but the lie is high ~ 6 lie.

If you could that'd be great, or if you could describe if it does compare to a Drury-ish/Spezza-ish/Ribeiro-sih type pattern. I'm okay going to a 6 lie.

Used the Horcoff and Avery wood blades last night, good, quality blades,

my camera is down, pic of horcoff was posted a couple back, similar to Naslund, but the size is like a paddle. Avery, is a slightly less curve the Horcoff, and slimer.

I would recommend, they just added a number of different curves. I will pick up more.

I almost got a deadmarsh as well, I've been regretting selling the first one I got. I might be up for a trade depending on how I like the Lang curve(you know how picking curves based on pictures is). I'll let you know within a day or so of getting my blades... Which should be next thursday or so.

BTW this Deadmarsh curve is different(in a good way) then the one I got the first go around:

Are these the ones theyve got now?

Well, the 2x4 tapered bundle page disappeared - right when I hit "Add to Basket". Sigh... holding out hope that HM will answer my email.

Spent all that time figuring out curves, and the order page vanishes.

Sod it. I may just buy the shafts elsewhere and get the blades on their own. Their loss.

Thats why you have to order fast. When you see what you want, order as many as you can, thats the lesson I learned from last time around. Now....who got some Taylor's (rh taper comp) that they dont want?

My initial order got cancelled, so last week I placed a new order. I ordered 3 composite standard blades, 1 Gill and 2 Federov's. I also ordered 4 standard wood in the Satan pattern. Also picked up 3 pro stock AK-27 shafts. Can't wait until they get here.

Wait are these pro stocks?

So we're talking Travis Green, not Mission Ether "Green."

My apologies...prostock patterns are not my forte - I saw a Mission blade and you saying Green...

Little do a lot of these new guys that have been trying to bash the "unknowing mack" that he's like a encyclopedia of pro stock patterns.

KingPest19, not according to the picture of the deadmarsh above the one that I posted.

Thanks TBL I remember finding some of that style at a Kings sale a few years back and didnt like them that much. But since that time Ive found the blade Im using are starting to get straighter. Ive got a few that Ive tweaked myself that are very close to that one shown. Before I bought any of these I was wanting to make sure they were closer to that style. Thanks

I'd wait for more pictures unless you're adventureous and just picked out some that you weren't sure of but tried to make an educated guess... like I did. haha.

The Deadmarsh makes me think I'll have to gamble now because the ones from last year may not be the same as the ones this go-around. I'm trying to go thru what people haven't ordered but they've all pretty much ordered what I was going to go ahead and order, except a Hull but I don't think I'd like even trying that.

Hey sorry man, I just got an opportunity to take some pictures for you. Its kind of funny too because I got a retail Ribeiro blade too so I tried to match them up. Kind of similar curves except that the Ribeiro starts kicking out a bit closer to the heel and has less loft. With the sticks in my hands I tried to level them at the centre point and I think the Boyes is around a 6 lie and the Ribeiro 4.7 lie. You can look at the pictures and decide for yourself. Of course, players do change their curves and lie over time ?

Green is Modano

looks madonoish but its the longest blade ive seen. i think this one is longer than my lidstrom

from the pictures it pretty much looks the same as Travis Green's other stick/blade patterns in the past. Curve varies abit but semi deep mid curve with some loft. Some blades kick out closer to the heel and some kick out closer to the toe.

Anyone know if they have any big toe curves? Im looking for a RH round toe 6ish lie. I'd be willing to buy from someone that got one they don't like.

Awesome thanks. It's kind of what I was expecting, and I doubt the curve has changed all that much from what I've seen.
