I really don't get that hyped about any of the equipment I use, EXCEPT sticks.  As long as my other gear is comfortable / protective, I'm pretty much good to go.

Stick-wise, I think there's a possibility that I have an addiction.  My latest acquisition, and my current gamer, is the pro issue tapered M-2 shaft (yes, it's tapered with M-2 graphics) I bought from Hattrick's paired with a retail inno kovalev blade.  Great feel, balance and kick.  I'm liking it quite a bit more than my Kovy True 1 all around.

I love my pro issue tapered M-2 shafts. They just feel great.

Aren`t the M2 tapered shafts just painted over L2`s/ the M-1 shaft?

As for my favourite piece, Mogilny Pro Novius with eh "euro-toe" curve.

Mine aren't repainted L-2's...They have grip on them and I got them well before L-2's were available.

So, just becsaue L-2`s weren`t available to the public, doeesn`t mean pro`s cannot get them like that. I`m thinking the player wanted it painted but so they painted it blue and put an m-2 on it for marketing purposes. Also, a pro player can have grip if they want.

Right now my newest (newest = most favorite at any given time) toy is a Mission L-2. Great balanced stick with wonderful feel. A little bit slicker finish than some sticks but nothing that some tape residue won't remedy. I'll throw up a review after another half-dozen games or so.

On a side note, the retail Hull curve is fun adapting to after using Easton Bananahans and Inno Mogilnys for a while. It takes a little more effort to raise the puck, but for me that's a good thing.

Hey, do you have easy access to a digital cam? I'm real interested in seeing a real pic of the Hull, not just the pic from the Mission site.

Sticks are always huge but right now I'm juggling. I'm really liking my old TPS Bionic gloves because I know our time is limited until I get my X70s. Also a huge fan of my T'blades, but thinking of putting them on my Amp Fly instead of my 609's which they are currently on.

Custom "Euro curve" Easton synthesis blade. I got a pair of these from East/West via eBay a couple of months ago. A large, beautiful mid curve..between the Iggy and Yzerman. Can toe drag the biscuit like its on a string... B)

So M-2`s are not made of the same material, like the L-2 and M-1? I always thought M-2 was the standard version of the M-1 shaft.

The retail M-2 shaft is non-tapered. The retail L-2, M-1 retail & pro sticks and most Pro issue M-2 shafts are tapered.

My Eagle X70s...had them for a few years now and I still love them as much as I did when I first got them.

Also...really liking my Bauer XV shaft-blade combo.

ive gotta put in a bid for my favorite gloves of all time, my custom eagle x80s. They are pro nylon in maroon grey and black, with my name stitched on the cuff. They are the lightest most comfertable gloves I have ever worn. Everything else I wear/use is more of a nusence, but there is nothing like a good pair of skates or gloves. I love my vectors, but not as much as my x80s
