Yeah, "custom" is really a misnomer for this program.

Isn't that the truth.

For instance, it would be nice to be able to plug in the blade codes of pro stock sticks as an option.

Vapor XXXX will be on the ID program after the holiday season is over from what I have heard. Still seems like there are a lot of custom options available. Shaft option, Shaft shape, grip texture, color graphics and a choice of about 15 different pattern options. sounds like custom to me

Custom is 87 flex on an intermediate diameter shaft that is very concave like a tps redlite but has textile grip, a full inch heel curve that is very open at the end with a short square blade that is 2 1/4 inches tall.

Customizable is p106 xxx lite with blue x's.

Calling a stick "custom" because you got to choose 1 of 2 shafts with or without grip and having your name painted on is stupid.

I saw 15 blade patterns on the NBH Innovation Tour van. They have a great selection including Easton Shanny/Yzerman and the real Jagr CCM Pro curve. If you want to change the lie on your OPS blade, get out a rasp. I have used it on the blades to change lie 5 to lie 6.

In a perfect world, your 87 flex with the intermediate shaft and all the custom bling would be great. Obviously, though to make up your dream stick in a one-off would be price foolish and time exhaustive. And oh shit, it just snapped in the Zamboni door during warm-ups.

Funny how a buying a custom stick brings bad karma lol :)

With my luck, something even more weird/off the wall would happen and it would probably never see a puck.

Will those 15 blade patterns be available along with the original 15 for a total of 30?

I have snapped and broken bamboo cane fly rod tips twice. There is no worse sinking feeling than that. And it feels like some total payback karma trip the instant it happens. Your post reminded me of that incredibly bad experience!

odp, those were the original 15 patterns on the van.

Think about it and decide if you really want to post this question.

Which NBH curves do the Easton Yzerman and the real Jagr CCM Pro curve compare to? The P14 was as close as I saw, but the toe seemed too open to be an Yzerman.

Anyone else receive an email from NBH. They are now offering the custom sticks through the site.

Any lhs workers mad about NBH bypassing you and offering product through their site?

And now it looks like they've attached names with the curves. No idea who Bugsy (P14) is though.

My local Hockey Giant in Bloomington, MN has a kiosk to order from and has all the patterns on display to look at as well as shafts with the different grips and the graphic examples (colors, country flags, etc)...

Is there anyway to order a stick through the Nike ID program with out actually being at the Nike ID stand in a hockey shop?

no

Actually yes. Just got this email today. Go here...

http://www.nikebauerid.com/#/ChooseStick

I tried it out and it's $225 for a XXX Lite. Such a deal! Sounds like they mail it to you and you don't have to get it from a dealer.

I'd rather go to my lhs that has this program and save $40.
