Since this thread has basically become the thread for jerseys for all teams i'll post this question in here. For those of you who do have access to this kind of information, is it really true that there will be a presence of red on the new Dallas stars uniforms? That would be disgraceful. And also, does anyone know what overall look the stars will be going for with thier jersey? I'm just curios as I think they have one of the better looking jerseys as it is at the moment, but i'm a bit worried about any possible changes, especially to do with rumours of red being a feature.

Dallas WILL NOT have red. They look like long sleeve basketball jerseys. VERY PLAIN. All will be revealed 1st week of September.

One of our Senior Members is involved with the Stars and he said that the final mockups he saw were pretty plain.

Apparently this rendering is what they are looking at, but with a few tweaks.

yeah, the home would like nice with the star logo rather than a number under the "dallas" lettering, i like these though, i think they'd look real nice with laces.

#1, the logo on the shoulders is the old fin logo, which they've gotten rid of.

#2, it's almost a carbon copy of a fan-based mock-up which can be seen here:

Also - you can tell that it is fake because of the ads on the boards.

You can extract the .fsh files out of EA's PC's games then reimport them into the picture database. I used to do that and get all of the arenas to look like the real deal. He imported his renderings of the jersey into the game. The Koho Revolution stick should be a dead giveaway that it is not NHL08.

The black "Dallas" jersey is pretty weak. It looks like a prep school team jersey. The designers really caught the feel of the NEWNHL with that piece of garbage. Seriously, unless you needed a black jersey, why would anyone buy that? Stahl's Lettering could have designed that for a buck.

Why the hell wouldnt dallas just go for the same jersey for home and away but with the different colouring? The white away jersey is an extrememly good looking jersey. Simple but not too plain, it's what a hockey jersey should look like. That black jersey is disgraceful. Why change drastically just for the sake of change? No one will think it is cool. Poor move by Dallas if these are the final designs...

I personally like the simple design of the Stars new jersey..Being from Dallas I'm pretty happy to see their first look back with the black jerseys..just my two cents..

As far as changing it to say "Dallas," I wander if it is like in baseball where the away teams uni says the city/state , whereas on the home jerseys there's the team logo or name..

But as mentioned before,i doubt this is the final makeup..Also,i feel the simplicity and boringness of the jersey sure matches the team/organization at the moment..

Stop with the numbers on the front already. As bad as it looks, it looks even worse when one team has them and the other team doesn't.
