tom ehrhardt49 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2007 Have been using my vapor XXXX for about a month now, this post is just a review in case anyone has any questions or interest in purchasing one. I have been using a p91 77 flex SE with tactile and stick'um. Not much different from the XXX lite except for the square shaft (a nice upgrade in my opinion). New blade has great feel and nice pop as well. Overall, the top stick i have used yet.

Jason 65 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 What are the main differences from the xxx lite other than shaft shape? Do they feel different when stickhandling or shooting. Does the blade seem stiffer? How is it holding up so far? Also, does anyone know whether the first batch of xxxx's will have a grip coating or not? Thanks

GoHabsGo24 1 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 So i was just looking on the NBH website, reading all the specs of this stick. And it doesnt sound like it would be very durable... it has thinner shaft walls, thinner taper, removal of excess material in the joint... i really hope this thing is durable, as i'd like to pick up a couple. My XXX lite is holding up nicely, so hopefully this will be the same...

I take it that the pro stocks could be more durable??

Interesting that they did not state that on the site.

Interesting that they did not state that on the site. That's strange, that would be a big selling point for alot of people. I don't want to drop hundreds of dollars on a top of the line stick that may break easily... Are pro stocks more durable than retail sticks?
BMcDonald19 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2007 it depends, pro stock sticks are only concidered pro stock because they are built geared toward certain players wants. that is why there is no warrenty. some guys like a thinner shaft, thicker shaft. so it may make the sticks better

OhMyGodImOnFire 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2007 Would that affect the flex? Come to think of it, how do they regulate the flex on a stick? When I say regulate, I'm trying to say control, make, etc.Sorry, just asking as a goalie, I never thought about it.
