So obviously NBH will have their four 'main' helmets next year (4500, 5500, 8500, 9500), but I wonder at what point they will phase some of them out?

No, because all of the helmets aren't in direct competition with each other, however, are in line with the competitors.

Hmm, well I don't hate it which is a good thing I guess as it usually takes me a while to get used to a new helmet aesthetically(doesn't really matter then as it won't be out for while anyway) I like the idea of a bit of VN aswell, thanks for the pic! :)

Just saw a nice close up of gonchar on vs........I dont think he is wearing the new lid tonight.

and this fight between hall and shepard looks more like dancing wit the stars than a fight.

****I lied......great side shot of the new lid on Gonchar.....the adjustment covers look a little strange. The helmet doesnt look very bulky....far more low profile than anything else I've seen.

it kind of reminds me of the quest helmets (i'm referring to the throwback styling of the ear covers or have they always been there?).

if i'm not mistaken, NBH has lifted the two-tone color-scheme idea from cascade helmets, albeit a much better representation.

Best lid I've put on. Even at a M, there wasn't any pinching or anything. The VN is in certain spots of the helmet, allowing for a better fit.
