I think if I went and searched for that, then I really would have a man-crush on him. I know he tried several different ones when he was coming off the 690; which I don't understand, because if there wasn't a new one he liked better, why not just stick with the 690?

Oh and also, 9500 is an aesthetic disappointment. Looks exactly the same as the 5500 (which doesn't look that great to start with).

I find it looks a lot more like the 5500 than the 4500 too, even if it does have the same profile as the 4500. I'm very 4500/4000 bias though, it's really the only helmet i have actually ever liked the look of so the 4500's perfection could be blinding me.

i just watched the UNH - UVM gave and both teams were wearing two tone 9500s, all i have to say is that they were fugly. The solid ones guys in the nhl have been wearing look much better, these looked like dirtbike helmets or something, with stripes and crap, they had too much going on. come on, keep it simple.

A new 9500 came to my door this week from GreatSkate as a gift from a friend. I have the used the helmet twice now. Felt good, comfortable, fit was easy with the sides/back. Light (didn't feel as light as the 8k), and good venting (not as good as the Mission). I find it comparible to the other top helmets, and I like the profile that is similar to the 4500. Although pricey....

Went to my LHS and they had a black M on display and it fit PERFECT... im still deciding on helments tho.. either the 8K in Red with Red inserts like Datsyuk or the red on red tried both on dont know which one i like more tho =[
