Weird break in my XXX-lite

I'm a lefty...just remember that...i can put a good amount of force flexing the forehand...but any pressure whatsoever on the backhand side and it bends like in the pictures:

nope....just happened when i was shooting during warmups...my old macdaddy got slashed...and it was a totally different break...it seems like the backhand side of the shaft just like "collapsed" inward

i did my xxx lite in just like that about... three weeks ago same thing.. snap shot but it ike snaped from the backhand first...

i have talked to a rep from easton, and he went on to say that other company use a bladder model, and that causes the shafts not to be the greatest quialty

Most XXX break right in exact same spot. It is definately weaker there.

I broke my v120 just like that... but I was actually taking a backhand when it broke. My guess someone hacked the crap out of my stick a few moments earlier.

The last R2XN10 I broke went the same way, after 2+ years. I could feel it kick though really strangely on shots but it was ok when I leaned down and flexed it. I got back to the bench and figured out what the problem was then grabbed the next one. I think my old Fury OPS died in the same manner.

No, it's usually due to a slash, puck deflection or some other impact.

Any of you guys snapping out-of-warranty sticks want to send them my way? Not for SRS, PM if you'd give it to me rather than toss it in the trash.

I've yet to break a shaft. Not too much contact for my level of play, but my Montreal is getting pretty beat up after the last few ice times. I'll hate to have that stick break, I hope the blade will stay intact to get clones made, I can't even find current Montreal sticks with the same curve.

I've broke 3 XXX lites already this year. Two of them exactly like that, one was the opposite.

I broke mine there just by getting it trapped a little between my body and the boards as I went for a puck.

I broke my OPS over the summer sameway. I was set up for a one timer and figured I just fanned on the puck because I'm not so good at those. I get the puck back go for a slapper and the lower half of my stick went further then the puck did.

im on my second xxx, and thrid on is taped ready to go. but its been like two months and it feels as weak..

Broke one of my old missions like that after 2 months, broke a TPS Intrigue after 2 weeks, and most recently my Easton E-Flex (lasted about 3 or 4 years can't remember, was relegated to back up though so that prolonged it)

All virtually in the same spot... all on slappers or a snap shot...

I remember the TPS I went into the boards, the Easton some one hacked me and not sure on the mission...

Everything else was good ole reinforced woodies...

Anyone know good deals on some shafts? I'm broke... currently using one of those overrun Ballistic shafts off ebay but the flex is to much.
