joelnmich 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 It'd be nice to have real hockey guys in charge of a hockey equipment company....but they need to have some business acumen as well.Numinen's company did alright and Primeau's kinda tanked....nice gear but too expensive for the good stuff. Spreedizzle 1 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 "But everyone in the industry knows that Nike overpaid for the assets, based on a miscalculation of the future market for in-line skating and of hockey's growth prospects in the United States."While apparently obvious....still a dagger in my heart for a sport so beloved. My kids however will learn the ways of hockey though.

the1gwiz 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 I still think if the two stars buy out bauer, it'll still be run by corporate execs wanting more damn money.Re-read the article. Wayne and Mario are part of two separate groups, according to the report. And yeah, wanting more money is usually why people establish a business. Sorry, no free skates for us anytime soon.
