You know I didn't think of this until tonight but the hollow idea might be something we've already been talking about but didn't know it. My Fury blade that I sold(to fatwabbit I believe) had amazing feel for a composite and the tenon was hollow. My mission pro stock blades have great feel too, the tenons are hollow.

Maybe the open air hollowness might help with puck feel... just thinking out loud here.

I've been fortunate to get to play-test the U+ stick for the past month and it's been great so far. It feels very good, light, responsive, good feel of the puck and I've used it in about 10 games so far with no issues with wear and the heel has held up really well. That's really all I can say right now but I'm looking forward to it hitting the stores.

I know that you stated the the skates had a more volumous fit, but did the skates fit like the Vectors with a narrow heel/tendon area and a high arch support? Or were they more remniscent of the Tacks line with a wider heel and lower arch support?

Same, but with the more volume, I think they'll get that old Tack wearer back.

My buddy just broke a 10.0 during the warranty and sent it in. They said they were out of 10.0's. So they sent um the U+. Pretty sick if you ask me.

After having watched the last few Caps games, it looks like (not surprisingly) Ovy is using the U+ painted like a Capapult. Everytime I see the heel of the stick, I see a small black rectangle on it. I thought it was just puck marks at first, but I've seen everytime they show the heel. I can't imagine a mark like that would be on all of his sticks.

No offense, but they somehow look like a cheap Walmart skate on these pics. I liked them on promo and Gettyimages photos tho. But, pics can distract. For example, the S15 skate _looks_ cheap on pics as well.

Not a huge surprise that the hollow point from True Temper didn't work out. Not really a very well thought out idea to begin with - IMO.

It's STILL hollow. I explained the reasoning behind it. It's still hollow all the way to the heel.
