Just eyeballing the pics though, I'd guess that the Prucha is similar to a retail Drury in terms of lie and that the Kotalik would play to a lower lie

Yeah, the folks who run that site use some kind of lie measuring device, but the results it gives seem too high. Based on the pic, the Kotalik would definitely seem to play at a lower lie than say a retail Drury which is advertised at 5.5 by Easton.

Edit: As an example they list the Boynton Sickick at a 7 lie. I had one (broke above the fuse point on a slapper in no time) and the actual lie was very similar to a a retail Drury.

??? I think they list the Kotalik as a 5.5 lie and that's what it actually is. Obviously a lot of the other lies that listed aren't right, but the Kotalik is.

Maybe a 5.5? Normally that would be too low for me, but the blade is super short so it doesn't bother me.

Kovalchuks I have seen have had a lot of variations, but the Afanasenkov is a "similar" type of toe curve. The key difference, however, is in the lie - Kovalchuk is a significantly lower lie

From listening to you guys I would think HockeyMonkey is exactly that, a bunch of ****off monkeys. I ordered onc3 40 jerseys from them in all different sizes and had them shipped overnight air and everything went perfect. The broad even called me to check up if everything was alright. Are they that bad when it comes to their sticks? I mean jesus, calling you to cancel your order? I'll never get anything from em anymore.

I find Monkey OK ... I ordered 2 Mission Pro Stock blades on Friday morning UK time, and they were delviered by 11am on Monday UK time. So I think that is pretty good. Inline/Ice Warehouse are always great too. Hockey Giant I seem to have the most issues with.

If I have had an issue with any online store it is when the stock you are ordering is split over a few of their locations. Then they don't seem to know their arses from their elbows a seem to miss things or send them twice (a few weeks later when they are in stock and you have already cancelled them of your order).

HM didn't screw up my order (Prostock Dolo shaft, Prostock Dolo blade- Walz curve, Prostock Mission blade- Ryder curve). I almost expected them to screw me over somehow, but it seems as if they sent me exactly what I ordered. Go figure.

the smyth curve is what i used before my kovalchuk, & what i've went back to since. its really the closest thing.

i was thinking about getting the walz instead of the kovy or affy, since they don't have. what do you think? i know it's a mid, not toe. but it's a pretty big curve, yes?
