they just aired this trailer on nbc in the 2nd intermission NYR/PIT game. Showed about 5 seconds of hockey and the rest about mike myers. Im guessing thats how the movie will play out too...

I was at the ACC when they were filiming this during the intermission of a pre season game. They'd do one take with the real players (pro's of some kind I assume, they were very good) with the puck and everything, then they'd sub in the real actor who could barely skate and they'd do the exact same thing except without a puck.

I saw the ad. for this movie at the theatre when I went to see "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". Didn't even know it had hockey in it, and said "that's going to be the worst movie ever." Definitly not paying to watch this movie.

As much as I think Myers is trying too hard with this one, I will probably see it anyway. Romany Malco is really funny, as well as John Oliver.

In better words, I wish hockey was not associated with this movie. Can't they make some last minute cuts and turn it into a basketball movie?

hahaha it's like watching the mighty ducks movies....except those are the greatest movies alive so i don't complain.

Timberlake has always impressed me with his comedy abilities when he's on SNL...His role as the French Canadian goalie may be worth seeing...but I'm not holding out hope for much more of it.
