Does anyone know why Datsyuk didn't have an "A" on his jersey?

Zetterberg wears his A every Day. Datsyuk and Draper switch off. Drapes had it today.

And yes I was locked out of rbkhockey.com or reebokhockey.com or whichever should work I saw byufiglien without the logo early on and spent the whole game trying to sign up. I texted my uncle and cousin at wrigley that he was the guy but got no response so we'll see how that goes

It was their 1935 pants, however, the colors were reversed.

Their pants that year were brown (as most of the league was) with red and black stripes and the triangle.

What CHI wore yesterday was a black shell, with brown and red stripes.

*EDIT - found it on nhluniforms. Those socks would've been SICK!

OK, here are some highlights of the game

The national anthems of both countries-class move and it sounded like everyone was shouting the words to the star spangled banner.

Seeing Vince Vaughn, Denis Savard, Stevie Y, and all of the Cubs legends walking to and from their boxes right above where I was sitting.

The entire crowd standing for the whole game.

All of the hawks fans that, once they realized they were spelling Red Wings, threw their cards up in the air.

Everybody that sent me a text message that Buff didnt have the logo on his sweater.

I'll have the link for my pictures tomrw afternoon

Awesome experience.

Overall, the Chicago fans were great hosts - we (Detroit fans) faced a little bit of playful ribbing, but all within the spirit of competition. Everyone was quick to strike up friendly conversation even after the disappointing finish.

Here's my beef with the Hawks fans though: Not once throughout the entire game did I hear a pro-Blackhawks cheer or chant. Not one. It was exclusively (and nauseatingly) "De-troit Sucks! De-troit Sucks!" over and over again. I even saw it painted on some kid's face - "Detroit" on one cheek and "Sucks" on the other.

Pretty lame.

Yeah we were thinking the same thing. Although the fans around us were all good people and were just playing around, I got sick of the Detroit Sucks chant. Didn't hear too many after the 5 goals in a row though....

If you think that's lame.. I wouldn't suggest a sporting event/concert in Massachusetts... God forbid someone spots a Yankees hat. Nothing more lame than a "Yankees suck" chant at an AHL game, or even worse- a They Might Be Giants concert.

datsyuk goal was classic... but out of curiosity, is throwing your stick way in the air during a butterfly slide really a good way to block as much net as you can??? sorry HUET it had to be brought up

Anyone hear what the television rating in the States was compared to last year's game?

Rating was 2.9 this year, compared to 2.6 last year. Noted on XM radio 204 (NHL on XM) that this game was the highest rated regular season game in 13 years. Not bad at all!

I'm not sure I've ever seen Datsyuk show as much emotion as he did when he scored that goal. I think he even did a double, maybe triple, fist pump.

Awesome experience.

Even though my home town team was not playing, I made the trip to Chicago to witness history. I do not think I could have had a better time. Besides the city of Chicago being just awesome, the game itself was unreal. My seats were located behind the defensive end that the Wings defended in the first period (the first base line side). The national anthems were a great way to start the game because the crowd was really into it. The weather was just right too, the wind was not nearly as bad as I anticipated. Exciting game all around too. It was VERY weird watching a hockey game but not being able to hear all of the on-ice noises or stick action as you would call it. Occasionally I would here the sound of the puck hitting the glass behind the net on a missed shot but other than that, hits, talk and just the wonderful noises of the game were impossible to hear. I was like a little kid at the game. I could not get enough of the atmosphere in and around the stadium. Truly remarkable moment for the NHL. I will remember this game for some time.

The reason for the Red Wings/Yankees suck chant being old is simply due to a statement of fact. Trust me, the "We feel sorry for you" chants when I wear any Royals gear gets old too.
