last night in bern, gomez used: mission NME stick, SE16 stick, S17 stick, warrior dolomite and by the third period stuck to the V10 catapult. saw the new warrior dolomite up close. staal was using vapor 40 gloves in blue and red, dunno how new that is tho.. not many vapor 40 sticks... lotsa easton on the ranger players.

wonder if Jagr goes all year with NYR gloves? I know he's pretty picky about equipment.

Wouldn't surprise me, if you look at his history with gloves you'll see he usually rocks the same pair for 3 seasons or so. In Avangard practice he's been wearing a pair of NYR color XXX's that have Tyutin's name on the cuff, I'm curious to see what will be his main pair when those DR's are finally done for.

sergei fedorov isn't using tape on his warrior dolo..

has he always done that?

nope. as far as i know his sticks have always been taped heel to toe.

like this. (every pic i'd seen of fedorov prior to this most recent.. this is how his sticks were taped.. from his rookie year through his nike days to his time spent in anaheim)

but this pic indicates he was doing the strip of tape as far back as his redwings days.. ^above pic is from redwings as well. guess he must have switched on an off between full tape and single strip.

maybe it's a quick fix on the bench. Don't want to switch sticks, but the tape is messed up. Don't have time to retape the entire blade just right.
