TBL- read JRs post, Bauer's not in the NHL at all for pants, he made the statement after someone said Malkin was in Warrior and I asked if there was a reason- turns out Bauer didn't foot the bill.

They don't put their logos on their pants. *See St Louis, Stamkos.

Whether these are current or old stock, I don't know. The last pants I've seen with NBH or Bauer logos was 2 years ago. There is still a presence with NBH/Bauer made pants, just no pants licensing.

BTW, saw Easton's new pro glove yesterday when I went in to see the Avs and Ducks for morning skate. Lightest glove I've ever put on my hand!

Which new one? The one that is all over the NHL or an even newer one?

More than likely s17. The new 4-roll(looks like the se16) isn't lighter than the old Easton 4-roll.

Total non-story in my opinion and a shame for TSN to report it, simply for the fact that they don't report any other company's signings. Must've been a slow day for the folks at TSN.

yeah I didnt hear anything cause I was at the bar but I actually saw sportsnet covering it on their news show. They had a picture of Spezza with a RBK logo, I just thought to myself why does the public need to know this? Pretty ridiculous indeed

Those are the same SyNergy Pro glove that is available for team/custom order, but with the team order graphics package. The NHL graphics package has a bigger cuff roll logo and no Easton or Ergo Thumb logos.

They look far inferior to the S15. We'll see if they corrected the durability issue though.

those who work in shops have most likely held the skate

ive seen it first hand, seems like they've addressed many of the issues the s15 had.

toe is covered with a rubber type material, the flexpoint by the the toe has been moved back more towards the heel so it feels a little stiffer to me

the tendon guard flexes, and the rivet location has been altered IIRC

the liner is alot more supple, almost a suede type feel

its a little bit heavier than the S15, but again, just grams

they just look like the s15 skate with a new colour. easton has made this same model of skates for a few years now without any success. they all seem to fall apart. maybe its time to go back to the drawing board....
