hank and dank sedin's contract was up over a year ago so they will probably be trying out a couple different sticks for this season

I was going to mention this but I guess you beat me to it. According to my source the Sedins thought the Reebok sticks they were using were the shittiest sticks ever so once their Reebok contracts were up they made the switch to NBH. There's about 20 untouched 10K's for sale (all Sedins) at the Canucks Store right now...

I can only imagine how bad these sticks are... especially with the team selling off Jannik Hansen's stash of 10K's as well.

$165CAN + tax. Totally not worth it since you're paying close to retail on some of those sticks and they don't come with a warranty. Apparently $165 is the cost price for the Canucks, which I doubt is actually that high.

I'm probably speaking outa my ass but I'm pretty sure its closer too nothing. Companies aren't going to be charing a lot to get there sticks seen in the big show, making all the kiddies want one.

I think you're way off on that number.

They definitely pay. There was a big uproar about the equipment budgets going waaaayyy up when all of the guys started using the OPS's. IIRC some budgets tripled because of the cost versus wood.

They pay wholesale. They are customers, just like retail stores are.

Endorsement deals are strictly an agreement between the player and the manufacturer to wear their product.

Equipment falls under a team budget.

i might be wrong but wasn't the a story a little while back about how Dany Heatley goes through around 180-190 sticks a year with total cost being around 17,000? ( sorry if the numbers are wrong)

Heatley's a marquee name for Easton so if the Sens are paying for his sticks then you bet they're paying for Chris Kelly's

L.A. Kings' Drew Doughty, who has been decked out in NBH gear since the beginning of the season, was using an S17 stick in their loss to the Avalanche a few days ago.

What color is Cole's XXXX? Is that black on black or some other color like navy? Looks great having an almost blacked out bottom but still have the graphics. One of the things I didn't like about my XXXX was the red 12k and X-logo looking different each time I looked down at the stick, I never started using it such that I'd black it out like I did my SE shaft though.

Thanks, I'm on my shitty work computer. Good monitor but VGA from a 5 year old onboard graphics set :(

Kyle Wellwood's also made the change from his Mission shafts to the XXXX. Looks like his stash of Missions are done.

Cole using one95 skates with LS2 Power holders/runners

Way late on that one, he's never had anything but.

well, he did have the LS2 holder for about 2 days when he first got the one90 skate (back with the Canes), but has been in the clear LS2P holders basically since the holder came out. Ray Whitney as well.
