On another warrior stick note :P

Anyone have any idea if this is just a different paint job for the dolomite, because Andrei Kostitsyn has been switching between this weird black and red one and his dolomite spyne.

Watching the Vancouver game last night, I noticed Kyle Wellwood's pants looked different, like he's wearing a different style.

He usually looks like his pants are 3 sizes too big, which I always thought was because he doesn't zip up the inside leg of the pants. When he played with Toronto, he wore CCM, and from looking through the Vancouver gallery on NHL.com he wore RBKs undone as of Jan 2nd.

Last night, they looked much smaller around the legs. Is this simply the difference between doing up the zippers and leaving them undone? Sorry, I couldn't find any pics of him last night in the gallery.

maybe the grip version of the new ak27? looks blacked out at the bottom as well

Yeah it could be...i just wonder why the hell he would black that one out because his main sticks (Dolomite spyne) aren't blacked out at all. I just saw him snap a Dolo spyne and then on the bench right after that he had the black and red warrior...and then a few shifts after he had his dolo spyne again. Very weird!

samuelsson no longer using a Salming twig.. he got the game winner with a Vapor XXXX in the wings game the other night against buffalo

yes FSDetroit interviewed him and he said he wasn't getting enough whip from his stick anymore so he's changed to a new one.

That he did...I wonder if Salming couldn't come up with the $40,000 for advertising fees. Sammy certainly did Salming a favour by saying that it took him six weeks to wear his last stick out.

Yeah but I don't think they will have the one piece AK's as retail...same as last year's AK's. Only shafts and blades. I'd like them to make the one piece though... :ph34r:
