ahh the two piece wood stick, how many goals have you potted and never a whisper of admiration. Put a piece of plastic in your hands and scores of fools will line up and pay 4x the price to score quarter the amount of goals (historically speaking). Ahh two piece wood stick, how I miss you

James Wisniewski had a "white out" SE16 tonight against the Wild. Hes blacked his sticks out before, but this is the first time Ive seen him with white spray. I was at the game and it was noticeable all the way up in the suites way up in the rafters.

Does anybody know what material the palm is? is it some mustang or goat?

Yes, it's a two-piece wood stick.

What exactly is a two piece wood stick? Simply a wood shaft and blade combo? They had one of Demitra's sticks for auction at a few of the Canucks games this year and I swear it was a regular woody?

All wood sticks are two pieces, fused together.

When you guys mention a "two-piece wood stick" it's the first time I've heard of the term being used so I thought I'd ask. Could've been the return of the Tri-core shaft for all I know.

That would be awesome if there were such a thing, and the wood could take the constant re-heatings and not whip out in a few games, but alas, woodies have met their match in consistency and dependability in the ops and other 'real' two piece shafts.

this is random, but have anyone noticed alot of U+ skates and warrior sticks and glove combinations for the bruins

Not so much the skates and sticks, but definitely the gloves. Looked like half the team was sporting Warrior gloves at one point.
