I am about performance over looks, but I would have loved to see the dark heel of the skate continue to the toe. I know Vapors have used the gradual lightness to the toe over the years, so it's expected, I just think all dark would look sweet.

Ive known people who seemed to just have iron feet, switching from one brand/line to another every season. I wish I could do that becasue I really like some skates look wise but they just dont fit my stupid foot so I always end up going with either a CCM or a wide Bauer supreme boot. I never could comprehend how people could just go from brand to brand and line to line without having foot pain.

the only thing I don't like about them are the red Xs, but I do love the overall look and the silver heel, ohh yeah, and the toe cap seems kinda long. now I see one more thing which I really don't like, the first lace holes look like the ones on the old flexlites, and I kinda like the classic look seen from above, like with one95, 9k etc. please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

yea i wont be able too... ive skated the vapor xxxxs when i was getting my holders changed on one95 changed.... i looked like bambi. i like to dream though

I hate those guys. A guy on my team has V10s with his back-up pair being XXXs. Skates fine with either one. If it's not perfect I'm in pain.

As for the aesthetics of the x60s, anybody else think the heel blends in with the holder creating some weird optical illusion?

I think they looked better from a far... all that silver junk really ruins it for me, to each their own I guess.

Thats me! :) I fit in just about anything comfortably, Reebok 9K, CCM U+ (before baking), One95's, stealth S7/S15. Although i dont fit in 40's, or One75's.

Looks like they come over the foot quite a bit down near the bottom eyelets, and are aggressively forward flexed. look good.

Wait til you see the retail model. Judging the skate's fit from a custom pair isn't going to do you any good.

I remember the nicest thing about the xxx's was how well they "wrapped" the foot. Was even better in the one90 with their zero negative space idea. Is this the idea with the x60 as well?

My last two skates have been ONE90 and now in ONE95, both 6-D. I had Vapor XX before those two. The X:60 fit stock in 6-D I tried on really sucked up my foot in a positive way. The total wrap around my foot was awesome. I could easily switch over to the X:60 based on how I remember that fit.

The ONE95s are still going strong!! Plus, at 5/8", sharpening like once every 2 months maybe, I have plenty of steel left too!!

Very nice looking skates. Is Bauer really going to wait right until the release date to release any official images of the skate though? Most consumers don't frequent sites like MSH, or hunt for images on sportsline, so aren't they going to want to create some more public buzz before the release date?

Nice to hear...I am 6.5D One75 and 6D in One95....man if our foot was .5 smaller we could buy junior skates :lol:
