Yes there is. Check out a hat from a couple years ago to the recent ones. The new ones wick moisture away or some crap, but they don't retain a curve for crap.

The giveaway on that was the change from a Gray underside to Black I believe too.

You don't know how hard it is for me to not rip those stupid hats off my bother's head, tear off the sticker and bend the brim! It irks me just to look at the damn things...

I dont know if its my head shape or just my non-sense of "style" but I can never get a 59/50 to look right on my head, I like the straight bill look but cant seem to pull it off...have a few Yankees caps...

The black bill is a great improvement for on-field play, it really does cut down on the glare. I've played a ton of baseball and I always prefer the black under-brim to any white or other color brim.

you can shrink em down a bit.. but if your head is shallow and bald, no amount of shrinking will do.

I'm considering stripping it, but am afraid that it will look even worse. The size is good and tight, I just need the cap part to somehow take shape better.

if you use luke warm water you can get quite a bit of shrink to them. I have a few 'short hair' hats that i cant wear when my hair is longer because i've shrunk them to hell

if you use hot water you get shrink lines and it looks gross.

if you have a spray bottle, spray it and put it on your head and just keep patting it down.. it'll eventually get to ( or close to ) where you need it.

Didnt want to start a new thread but this is pretty much relevant to this one. Does anyone know where i can find 59/50 NHL hats. I have 7 Rangers hats but cant find a 59/50 style one ive been looking for quite some time. I have found weird fashion one with a blackout look or odd colors but not any Rangers just red white and blue, do they even make them?

They make a low profile 5950 - something like that?... 3930's are just those awful batting practice hats with the spandex on the sides, aren't they?

... Also, I love 5950 hats, and have a collection that is growing almost as fast as my head (I bought two last week in a size 8, and have a couple that are less than a year old in a 7 3/4 that I can't get on my head anymore, even after stretching).

I'm not really a "hat guy," but I've been rocking a Nordiques 39thirty a lot lately. I saw it and I just HAD to buy it. I get a lot of compliments on it...though my coach just looked at me when I walked into the dressing room for practice the day after I bought it, shook his head and said "You're probably too fucking young to even remember when they were in Quebec."

I dont wear them its more of a collection.. still looking for the batman one in my size though! these hats dont suit my head, I just think they look good on the top shelf in my room. I have MLB ones aswell, my uncle is an avid baseball fan and tries to get to a game in the states once a year, and usually grabs me a hat;

I've got a collection, i'm just trying to get all the teams in the MLB. Trick is that I haven't bought a single one, they've all been gifts haha. So with 14 I dont think i'm doing all too bad. I just broke the shelf today trying to reach a one ha.

I have to add that the best line NE has done of late were the Twisted ones. I love my Oakland Braves hat and Atlanta A's hats.
