CaptainFantastik 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2009 (edited) Having just got back onto the ice after a 2 year layoff my gear's a little "outdated", although a couple articles are old by choice just because I like them.Helmet: CCM Tacks (2004)Sticks: RBK 7K Sickick Crosby, CCM Vector OPS V110 Recchi (2004)Skates: Bauer Supreme 5000's (2002-ish)Pants: Tackla Shinguards: old school Winn Well Avengers (1994-ish........i'll likely never part with these. Also using the Gravity mouthguard, Tacki Mac grips, Gorilla laces, Shock Doctor bag, and trying Bladetape now.Tacki Mac grips are wicked, ive been using them for almost 2 years now and they last for a long time as well, never going back to tape, the palms in my gloves are like new too. I have a shockdoctor bag also haha.

Invert 13 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 Well I broke down and got a pair of One95's from the LHS had them baked and everything, the left was was a bit looser, figured it was because I didn't have wax laces in. Well I get home and notice the runners are 280 and 277. NBH stuck a 9EE and an 8.5D in the same box, so I am now back to my garbage CCM t`Blades.

furlanitalia 1 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 When i got my one90's after one game i figured out that one foot was an 11.5 and the other was an 11. Pretty sure it was the stores fault during sizing though
t1tan 19 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 Back when I had One90s almost the same thing happened, I tried on the skates both were 8's, perfect fit, get them baked and didn't notice anything because I was just sitting there not moving my feet. When I got home i noticed an 8 for one foot and a 9 on the other. Called up the shop immediately and they ordered a replacement pair of 8's for me since somehow between trying them on and making their way to the oven a 9 got tossed into the mix. number21 3 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 just found a broken 05 Stealth 85 flex at a stick and puck time. Waited to see if it was anyone's, after I got dressed I went and picked it up. Got out the hack saw and only had to take an inch off. I put in a cheap wood blade to try it out.

furlanitalia 1 Report post Posted March 31, 2009 that is an interesting skate width....Also used my seidenberg one95 last night for the first time. First impression: hmm. my only comment after was that it was an interesting stick to use. Felt stiff but became a wet noodle when shooting. blade felt super light which made stickhandling feel light. Perhaps i'm not used to a blade with good puck feel.
