Warriorsdman 1 Report post Posted July 4, 2009 oh i also play inline hockey but we use a ball. is there need to tape my blade. i have a rbk 7k sickkickReally up to you. some guys like the cushioned feel of tape, others don't mind the feel of the blade. If you have trouble catching passes with the ball bouncing off of your blade, then you should tape it.And you can do better than the XXXX, it isn't bad, but there are much better options. for juniors check out these: http://www.hockeymonkey.com/easton-clearance-sticks.html -- I would recommend the SL, SE, or ST. The X:50 feel amazing. I'm happy I made the switch.I wanted to upgrade my dingy old shoulder pads. Loved the fit and feel of the new Reebok line and went with the 8k. Protection is way beefed up at the cost of just a little bit of weight, almost unnoticeable though. Mobility feels much better with the new ones.I have a friend who knows a friend who works for Warrior so I was able to get a pair of the Hustler pants at a discount. They're a nice pair of pants and I can see why many like them, but much like the U+ skates, they just weren't for me. I think switching to the Tackla pants will work out much better for me. crazy4gear 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2009 I like it a lot. I have tried on other helmets, but I definitely have a Bauer head lol. It has a nice snug fit for me. It is very cool temp-wise.
