so where are we at with the game. I guess we still need a bunch of people to pay. What are the out of towners doing for places to stay. There is a hotel connected to the mall that is nice if someone wants to split a room

One thing DC and the surrounding area has its lots of hotel rooms. Look for places in Ballston, Alexandria, and Crystal City. You should be able to get something for a decent rate using Captain Kirk or other competitive websites. If all else fails I know Min and I have offered our places for the overnight for fellow MSH

i can get the Hilton Arlington which is attached to Ballston Commons Mall for $96 per night... just have to pay the $17 per night to park there as well. Didn't know if anyone wanted to split a room

When we plan those things you have to factor where you're going to get skaters. I would absolutely love to do a skate at the Forum in Tampa - but how many skaters can we get?

Depending on the date, I would probably be able to make a FL skate. Since my wife's parents live in FL, I could disguise it as a trip to see them. ;)

Well you, me, and TBL are three. Not sure who else is down here. If you ever do, count me in for sure.

Many people seem to travel quite a ways for other skates.....maybe a winter skate down here would be attractive for some people up North to get away from the cold for a bit.

THe other problem with that is that there's quite a history with the MSH Skate being in MI for the winter. We're able to get a high concentration of skaters and it has become the first tradeshow of the season. Moving from that location may take away from all of that.
