I think that idea of "classic" arenas would be a sweetass idea, but my thinking is it wont be pulled off too well i dont think because how many are already demolished, etc. Itd be sweet as hell to play in Olympia though!

i dont know if anyone caught this but at 5:45 of Masterbit: NHL 10 Part 2, the player seems to bat a puck out of the air to try and score a goal, that looks like a bug to me

first it was a high stick, some will say yeah but he did not score... But still a high stick and the fact that his player touches it after and the play is not blown dead is wrong, if EA messed that fundemental high stick play, that would be a shame...

keep in mind that the game isnt 100% done, hopefully their still gonna fix that before the game is launched

A gallery of pics that show's off a couple NHL teams individual stats and faces. I'm a little dissapointed it looks like you get the same generic options from last year for create-a-player though. I was hoping that'd be the one place EA would take a page out of 2K Sports book. 2K9's customization in their create-a-player is way better than 09's.

I was hoping that'd be the one place EA would take a page out of 2K Sports book. 2K9's customization in their create-a-player is way better than 09's.

As much as 2K's selection kills EA pretty much since JR helped out, I would rather have proportionate, accurate looking equipment than something that looks like it was modeled by a student as his first in-class assignment.

There's still some gear missing, like the 5500 helmet but they finally added the Bauer 4-Rolls and they're pretty on top of the new high end stuff coming out. X60's for example.

It would be great but an unbelievable nightmare to acquire the license for the likeness rights to all of the individual players, teams, etc...I'd rather them put out a separate release or "special" addition that includes those teams or a junior hockey edition (never gonna happen). My other wish is for a "classic" edition that has legendary teams and arenas.

I'd like to see the classic teams bit expanded with past stanley cup winners, wouldn't take that much to do to be fair.

It was shit trying to figure out who was who, but luckily enough I found a guide listing every player, so it just took some time to edit some names. Was worthwhile in the end, playing tournaments with past finalists.

I am glad to see CKY in there but Nickelback makes me want to kill myself evertime I hear one of their songs.

I really want them to add the outdoor arenas.. How cool would a few winter classic stadiums be and then just a generic pond hockey type arena (Mystery Alaska style) would be great fun :)

Who cares what Alexisonfire is or isn't. I think they're under "Rock" on my iPod, my girlfriend probably thinks they're death metal, and for someone else they're probably folk music.
