I'm really ok with not having real head coaches. With the amount of time they spend programming nonsense like that, it means we would have one less new option on the game.

Ditto that. Minor issue. Spend time and money on making the game better. That's the funny thing about NHL 12 this year. They are hyping up all of this "goalie fights, broken glass stuff" and then in blogs mentioning some ACTUAL decent game play improvements, but that stuff gets no fanfare.

It would be cool if you were allowed to start your BAP at birth or something, where you have to play for random (obviously fictional) AAA teams and stuff, then you can get drafted to the CHL or you can choose to take the NCAA route, etc. Would be really cool to just have a really long and maybe realistic be a pro thing. I actually find it quite boring to play the memorial cup (better than nothing) and then go straight into the NHL/AHL. I would rather have the whole journey.

Or you could start with a high school state championship game, then you can decide to go the NCAA or CHL route, then get drafted from there. I'm with hradsky on the memorial cup. It would be a lot more fun to have it be a more complete journey to the NHL, instead of a watered down playoff to determine draft position. There's a lot of cool things that they could do with the NCAA in the NHL franchise.

They are sort of bringing this in. In BAP you can actually start in Juniors and work your way up, rather than just playing the Mem Cup playoffs and then getting drafted/playing in the NHL.

There are also rumours of a big announcement, which some people are guessing to be the NCAA. The problem I see with that is realism. One of the things that annoyed me most about the NCAA football series is you couldn't actually name the players. It's better now because people will make custom rosters and load those, but it's still not perfect.

Seeing as it goes along with Lemieux's scoring 5 goals in 5 different ways it will be what was stated above.

I am not satisfied with the Achievements personally since I do not play the Be A Pro aspect because I am playing club matches online with my buddies 95% of the time I am on. :/

If you look closely in the trailer the goalie is from Calgary so Mike Vernon,

The goalie is Kippersoff in the video if I'm not mistaken, I think they were just using Legends against current players. My guess on one of the goalies is obvious, Patrick Roy.

Yzerman, Borje Salming, Roenick and Roy added to the Legends. I thought Chelios was a bit of a stretch since he last played in '09, now Roenick is the same way, thats pretty lame in my opinion. Not to mention Roy was on the Centennial teams.

But if you look closely it's all right handed players. IIRC, Messier was only a left correct? Plus for some reason, We know Mario is a lock (hopefully!) but the one on the right looks like they have some old gear on but that's just my opinion.

That would be Russ Tyler.

Anyway, Roenick was a great player, but Legend is a BIIIGGG stretch, especially since there are so many other guys more deserving. Howe, Richard are only two.
