Hans

New Custom Grafs

Recommended Posts

I have been reading a great deal of posts on here and took in a lot of great info...Thanks

I have been skating on easton 1300c's when this last season, they finally fell apart.

I decided to go the custom route and ordered some Grafs from Proskate Edmonton with the following:

Custom Color

Extra Stiffness

Number stitched on the side

Tbades installed

I must say they are incredible skates and I had them in 1 month. I have read about the horrible stories with custom Grafs, but my experience has been awesome.

Here is a pic.

Later.

damn $1000! i'm glad you're happy with them but I can't imagine spending that kind of dough on skates. Did you have trouble finding a retail skate that fit?

Remember thats canadian dollars so more like 800 USD depending on the exchange rate. I had to pay 700 for off the shelf version so 300 for a custom pair was not to bad.

That is a damned nice skate. Going to put in the yellow laces or sticking with black? I like the #55 on the side as well. I wonder if I can do that with my Vapors at HockeyRepair.com ?

Nice boot.

...with that said, I still don't get how anyone skates on those Thomas the Tank Engine Clickidy Clack track T-blades...those things are hideous.

I already own my Vapor XXXXs...but I was wondering if I could get the #s stitched on via a cobbler such as hockeyrepair.com

I had tblades on my last pair of nike excel's and easton 1300c's. I don't think I will have a problem adjusting to them on my Grafs.

I know the tblades are noisy, but I just love the way they work and the consistency with the edges.
