Maybe a new Bauer pro pant out there. Stamkos' had a red liner on some of the interior panels. Upper seemed different too.

I was busy working my ass off yesterday. Right before I saw you back by the loading dock I was riding in the elevator with Marty. Didn't say a word. Of course when we both get out and we're walking in the XO Club everyone's like "MARTY!!!!!!"

When I left, I walked out the players' exit, and promptly said "I don't feel like signing today." LOL

I don't know what makes me think so, but I do feel like the bauer looks photoshopped. It looks a bit crooked, or is it just me?

Marty is huge in this town, of course they freaked out. I was happy to run into him, it was nice to see him so happy and animated. Usually he's pretty dour.

Was Clarkson's S19 elliptical? A friend of mine got a bunch of his S17s from the Devils sale a little while back and they were STs.

The Clarkson on the Devils is David, not Ryan. But to answer your question, the Clarkson S17's that were at the sale were split almost evenly SE's painted and true S17's. Me and the people I were with picked up 3 total, 2 were true and one was repainted SE. And my only reasoning for them being painted SE's instead of ST's is because last season, he almost always practiced with old blue SE's and played with them the season before.

He had the real deal. I asked him when he got them and stuff because after the game I was in charge of the room and getting the guys some drinks and autographs and stuff so we were talking and he said that Easton came out with the colour scheme before they came out with the stick and they tried to get it out but alot of the guys dont like the ones with the different paint jobs because they dont slide as normal as a 'natural' stick.

There was also an all black RBK, no idea what stick it was, Aaron had it and it had holes in it just like the RBK 8.0.8 O-Stick but it was all black, no white on it at all.

I picked up the Bauer and checked for a fuse point and stuff and It looked like there wre two, but it could have just been the paint job.

It was really light though. I am not a Bauer stick guy, Im an easton guy and it was comparable if not ligher than the CNT Stealth.

My friend who is also testing the prototype Easton skates got a Milan Hejduk S19 yesterday and i felt it. Super light, similar to the U+ CL but not quite as light. Same texture on the shaft on Hejduk's as the CL with the same texture stuff on the blade (forget what Easton called it.) This one was elliptical too. It basically just felt like an elliptical U+ CL

I've had a retail S19 for months and no way is it even that light.

Hockey Canada Auction

went to a canucks skate today. nothing new in terms of gear beside an X60 stick. the only thing worth mentioning is that the women's finnish team in attendance is about 70% good looking. salo missed the first few drills conversing with them.

and some dude in the parking lot asked me if i was "one of the canucks guys" as i pulled up in my bmw. talk about judging a book by its cover.... i had my 13 months old son in the backseat.
