Saw Patrick Marleau using a warrior shaft/blade - OPS ( couldn't tell ) in tonight's Pre-Season game against the ducks. During the beginning of training camp - He still had his easton s15's. Must have been a recent switch or he may be trying out the warrior stuff?

Marleau switched between Warriors and Easton last season.

Marleau was actually testing out the ak27 ops for the last few days at practice, so i think he might go that route for a game or 2 but like years before, he'll probably switch back to the easton 2 piece

I'm very curious if anyone has seen this type of glove design before. I think it may have been done by a company here in Quebec, since I saw a bunch of guys in a summer league were Dandenault plays, wearing them.

Not sure exactly what company makes those gloves but it's his gloves from the Q Ligue, pickup hockey during summer time with a crapload of NHL guys...Lecavalier, Lapierre, etc....I think it's Stephane Quintal that actually started it. Could be wrong though, but I heard Maxime Lapierre talking about it. B)

Is the ak27 OPS just a repaint of another Warrior stick or did Warrior just fuse the shaft and blade like the Dolomites? How come they aren't available for the public?

Seeing Marleau without the UltraLite or S15 just seems weird, lol.

I think SM Liiga finally went over the top with the ads on the butt cheeks of the pants. Not that SM Liiga wasn't already there with advertising on the uniform.

How long have they been advertising on the back of the gloves? damn. Are the player's faces up for sale too?

Back of players gloves has been used for a long time. So too has the goalie pads, and butt cheeks. don't think there is really much room left to take up, after all some visors have sponsor space on them
