I thought I saw Green with a Sherwood. Quick find on the picture, K9.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him experiment all season long.

So is Kopitar using a AK27 shaft blade combo? Or is it an OPS?

It's a combo OPS. Why? Because he's a STRAIGHT UP G from the OC!

green using sherwood

thought it looked last night like one or more of the Flyers started the game with Nike-Bauer gloves with blacked out swoosh, but then later in the game were wearing the model/branding Hartnell has on in the pic

Edit: saw on Getty Images it was Richards

Obviously a very old sighting, but what skates does Scotty have here? Don't think I've seen anything like them.

Almost positive they are Lange's but they could also be Microns. My moneys on Lange though.

Micron M-1. Lange was long gone from hockey by the time Micron took over the plastic boot business.

New Reebok skates?!

They sure ain't the first gen 8k and aren't the second gen of reebok skates. Which made me think that they could be the new white 8k inline skate converted to ice, but the 8k inline skate has more grey on them on the vector, plus the ones in the link have a different design on the back.

What kind of paint did Ovechkin use on the bottom of his stick to make it blend in with the ice so well?!

1st gen Russian invisibility clocking technology. The Kremlin really wants to win Gold this year so they can defend it in Russia like they are used to doing there

Those fit the description of the new RBK skates I was given by a RBK employee. He didn't give me a model name though. He previously had said they have a "bauer killer" coming, but not sure if these ones are what he was talking about. A shop guy also described the new RBK skates to look like this.

Not bloody likely. Even if their new skate is the greatest skate ever developed it will take at least three generations of those skates being the best skate ever developed before they would surpass Bauer. Not only does Bauer make excellent skates, their brand awareness and positioning is excellent. CCM/RBK needs significant improvement in their marketing to overcome the stigma of so many retail flops.

The next offering I've heard scuttlebutt about will be the 11K and it will be a much lighter offering than past Reebok skates and while it won't overtake the Bauer stranglehold, it will be a skate to compete with Bauer.
