Brind'Amour is wearing a blacked out Mission Intake.

I noticed that last night. guess it's because Mission no longer exists for ice hockey.

and white-ed out and red-ed out on the other helmets. he doesnt change his crap around a whole lot, and started sporting the intake last year. maybe didnt want to get a new bauer branded intake like we've seen.

The EQM right? Does anyone know what the selling point of these skates? They arent fully composite like the S17 or SE16 right? Wont they be much heavier then other Easton skates? Also is it just me or are iginlas socks really loose?

Apparently according to our Easton rep when I asked him about this skate when he came to show us the new ST model which myself and another co-worker has already seen. He says this skate is a traditional boot structure with stitching and nylon much like the old Z-Air Comp series skates.

Which would explain why Iginla's in them. He seems to be a sucker for the z-air stuff.

Ovechkin switches sticks alot, goes between Bauer and CCM, but he uses the CCM most of the time. If he has a goal drought, he will switch to the Bauer for a couple of games, etc.

back to the roots?

My bet is that it's a one95. I've seen a lot of pictures of his U+ CL stick and towards the blade there is no detail as there is on the real CL such as that line that runs on the blade and the markings on the back of the shaft (maybe that's just on the retail versions, idk) and the whole stick looks glossy. Also, there is a kid on youtube who has his pro stock CL and says it's actually a one95.

Yes, EQ5 is a composite/traditional hybrid skate.
