i'm curious about the actual cost to the players regarding their sticks

can anybody shed some light on that topic for me?

I'm assuming those players with endorsement deals such as the ones listed on their websites would get free equipment, but what about the lesser known/ 3rd and 4th liners?

It looks like they don't wear matching gloves. It ruins the look. They will wear Edge jerseys too. I wonder why they didn't use RBK 6100 cut like the Flames did.

I agree. Black/red gloves kill it for me. I'm glad they get the green back. Not enough green in the NHL anymore.

yeah, they will be wearing them for one game only. Im extremely excited to go tonight. For the record, they will be wearing the green jerseys with red helmets, green shells with the strips on the side, and green and red socks. marty will be wearing a replica red helmet that he came up with and his old red sherwood sticks. they will not be changing and of their gloves and marty wont be changing any equipment.

marty and denis have been wearing the shells in practice for a few days now. i bet its pretty uncommon for goalies to wear shells over their pants.

The uniform's looked really nice, and for the most part I found that the red/black gloves worked pretty well. Seeing as to how the green on the shoulders almost looked black at times. But for the most part they pulled of the look real well, and given the way the Devils played tonight they should probably wear them more often. But that would be a fun thing to do for the fans and if I'm not mistaken anything fun is frowned upon by Mr. Lamoriello.

If they do it to often it loses it's shine. Once a year, st.patricks day would suffice.

A Third jersey in teh sense that most teams have them is something I wouldn't want for the Devils because then they lose their originality. But a once a year thing is fun. If it's more rare than you like it more.
