Does Tampa still use home/away gloves?

No, They haven't done that in years, and when they did it was for a very, very short time.

It is funny how the writer states that "Bauer sticks break too easily" and this is in comparison to Easton. WTF? haha

The One95 IMO is a much better stick than the Vapor X60 or XXXX by a long shot. I'm not sure why anyone would state that Easton is much more durable than Bauer considering the lack of durability shown by the Easton S17 or SE16. Maybe it is because they're all using Easton ST's instead of the S17/19s?

Bear in mind this is a source that interviews bloggers and says things like this:

Without knowing all of the ins-and-outs, I will give you my take on the whole situation.

I guess they don't teach you how to be a legitimate reporter in journalism classes anymore.

I bought a Nike Bauer One95 stick about 6 months ago. It has poor feel and little whip. At $240 I thought I would be getting a decent stick. I was wrong. I sawed it down and gave it to my 10 year old for road hockey.

in the comments section haha.

Not the best pic, but here's a glimpse of Forsberg's Team Sweden SE as seen in a game today. If I find better pics later on I'll post them as well. Will there be any Olympic gear thread btw?

Those look nice. Is it just me or does he have the "Oh crap I'm about to fall down" look?

Kovy's got a new pair of Warriors on tonight. Looks like the plain Racing stripe model.

Nope, after the last white stripe, the rest is black. The fingers look to be all red though.

Yeah.. as soon as I posted that they showed a close up. Kinda looks like he combined a couple verisons. Fingers are all red excpet for the knuckle area. Interesting. Liked his old ones better.

Really, SRS?

Looks more like a 2-piece painted to match. Highly doubt any pro would use an SRS repaired stick.

i was joking. i would hope reebok would take care of their poster boy

I dont use the one95, but a buddy of mine on my mens league team, his brother plays in the show and Bauer is his brand, so naturally he's got access to the good stuff. Well he's got about 8-10 one95's in his garage, yet has been using the same two for our games and with the youth team we coach for at least the last 9 months (he broke one of the two a few weeks ago). Im impressed with the longevity of those sticks. Its a shame Im not a lefty so I could try them out. But we have a game or two per week, plus practice with the youth team once a week, and although the sticks dont look new, they are holding up pretty well.

Paul Bissonette using a Combat 52 Caliber and Peter Mueller started the season with his Warrior, lately and tonight was using a S19 and finished the game with what appeared to be a One95 with most the graphics removed(and rather poorly). Both sticks did have nice toe curves though.

might be a dumb question, but where is the last R on his stick? haha, just chipped offf? or painted weird?

Its under where he taped his stick at the top. I agree about the new gloves being a downgrade..... really thought he would do something special. Now I'm disappointed :(
