Look at how baggy that is on the arms and around the body, it is nothing like the first generation RBK jerseys. It looks like a classic jersey with a rounded hem at the bottom.

Is there any way we can petition the NHL to force them to wear this instead of the x-mas jerseys?

Players got custom measured ones from day one. I remember when they first came out the Flyers ordered over sized ones for all their players.

And while this is somewhat loose, it's still a hell of a lot better fitting then jerseys were before edge. But that's not the point. The point is that the edge jerseys didn't force the teams to use a template, or crap up their design. That falls on the team.

LOVE this jersey. i doubt that's the colorway they use on the gloves tho. This reminds me of the Mighty Ducks' last 3rd(which was my fav 3rd jersey), just edgier. This and the Islanders 3rd, (probably to be their main now) are the 2 best in the league.

I love them. I have the original green wild jersey and I was pretty mad when they replaced those with the ugly red and green jerseys. I may have to buy a new jersey this year.

Yea, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Ohio State have all used script lettering on their jerseys and it looks great.

The style is also a fairly common Baseball logo. A tad ironic that this look more natural on a sweater than Dallas's Basketballish ones. Basketball is a much more similar sport to hockey.

I agree on the college jersey look sentiment. On the other hand, MN jas a long and successful tradition of college hockey so thats actually sort of a nice twist on it.

I was ready to pass judgement before I saw the picture, I was figuring to see an abomination similar to the Lightnings 3rd, and the Thrashers 3rd. THis is nice, plain, simple, what a hockey jersey should be.
