add to data pool;

Height: 6'2 1/2 (74 1/2 in)

Weight: 220 - 230, depends on what i've been doing recently

Length of stick: Stock + 2", usually right around 62"

Flex: 102

Age(optional): 21

Position: whatever

Brand: Bauer

Curve: Closed toe

quite interesting data collected. What were your numbers for people over 16 in terms of avg height/weight/flex? Were they signifcantly altered by younger and therefore not fully developed people? Even 5'10 seems kind of low balling it on average height. I only know a handful of people who are shorter than 5'7, and most of my friends are between 5'10 and 6'3.

Also would have been nice if originally it was added what kind of curve (toe, heel, etc) and what brand people prefer to see those numbers. I added mine incase I start a trend. God I'm a nerd I love excel sheets

Height: 5'9

Weight: 184 lbs

Length of stick: 60''

Flex: 87 or 95

Age(optional): 14

Position: Defense

Personally, I like the retail length of most sticks. Don't really try and play around with the length aspect too much. A 102 flex is too stiff for me. 87 is fine, a bit whippy but fine for me. If I ever can get my hands on a 95(Easton used to do 95, dunno if they still do), I'll take that. If I use pro-stock sticks, the lowest flex I'd probably go is 80 or 82.

Average height of men in the US is 5'9" (5'10" if you only count those between ages 20-29) and, I don't remember the exact percentages, but something like only 10% of men are over 6' and 2-3% are over 6'2"

I've gotten myself hooked on Marian Hossa's pro-curve. Unfortunately the difference in the flex and length of his stick is across the board. First batch I got were 85-flex standard length. Perfect, I could cut them down and still get a good flex in them. The batch I just came across is 102-Flex and have a 4" fused extension on top of the standard length. I'm attempting to learn to play with the longer stick, since switching from forward to defense it is something I have been interested in doing anyway.
