Pro-Stock RBK 10K Stick

Recommended Posts

Hey quick question, so I got a pro-stock RBK 10K stick off east west hockey and was wondering what kind it actually was. Sure as hell doesnt feel like a regular 10K and it doesnt say "sickkick II" on the side of the lower shaft either. Almost has a sandy finish on part of the shaft and on the belly of the shaft it says A1T. All the stickers comming from the company say 10K but im still not buyin' it. Any help?

I had a 10K but mine was a A3T, this is just to classify the type of blade that is used. Mine also had a sand paper finish on the blade. Not all 10k has the sickick II decal, it probably is a real 10k

None of the "prostock" 10K are close to retail 10K's (lighter than pro stocks)

Majority of 10K pro stocks are RBK 7K, ProliteII, CCM V130, CCM U+, CCM U+CL

I love the feeling of the pro stock 10k's although a lot of the feel different the difference between the pro stock and the retail is tremendous I get a bunch from the hamilton bulldogs and some of the look like they are prototypes with the graphics slightly differing it seems like they aren't even 10k's feel more like the u+ cl

Any way to tell? I have half a dozen of these from an AHL team and they do have different feels. Some I like better than others. It would be good to know what the stick actually is for future purchase consideration.

just look at carbon pattern most I have seen are 7K's,

the ones with "shark grip" are CCM U+

the ones with bigger V shape carbon blades or fiberglass looking blades are CCM V130/110 etc etc

So why do this? I sort of understand the branding of CCM with the Reebok logo since it is the same company in effect but what is the benefit of putting the specific "Reebok" logo on sticks that are CCM? Either way, they are promoting their gear

I think it might be the other way around. I think it is to get the Reebok hockey name out there as much as possible.

Also in the AHL reebok and CCM are the sponsers so if I guess they would want to push their new mechandise as much as possible so i guess if you want a old vector they probably want to put the newest graphics whether it be the the CL graphics or the 10K

if you have visible small carbon weave most likely a 7K/ProLiteII

if shaft blade is painted matte black or has weird grip most likely CCM U+

if the blade is shiny with ">>" shaped carbon or thin fiberglass blade CCM V series

wow I have looked too far into this subject :P

Mine have a weird grip sorta like my U+ but Vs on the blades like the V series. I'll try and find the tagging on it.

mine has the V series weave on the blade...not sure if that means that the whole stick is a Vector stick or just the blade...any way to tell the shaft?

feels like a U+ but maybe thats just my mind playing trick on me.

The A1T, A2T, A3T etc are the way they differentiate between blade set ups. I can't remember off he top of my head, but we have a bunch in the store I work in, one is two piece with a wood blade, one is a two piece with a composite, one is a two piece with another composite blade type. Spezza, I know for one uses the two piece with wood set up.

I'll have to take a peek. I have 7 or 8 pro stock 10K's. Two pairs are identical sticks; one marked with no player name and the other were Jon Filewich's. Others are different players/etc.

does it have a softer foam in the middle of the blade looking from the top down instead of graphite all around like most other comp blades? I have a prostock V130 with the so-called "thick blade." maybe thats the one
