Bauer Supreme TotalONE

Recommended Posts

Just to be clear, I am getting Total One's for me. I already have new one95's (bought them in February).

The one100's are for my daughter. I could get her one95's but I prefer to buy the newest thing out on the market no matter how financially irresponsible it is.

I was hoping I would be getting the call that the new Bauer's are in at my LHS because I want to get rid of this money in my wallet and get the new skates!

I know a 20 year old guy living in Southern New Jersey who could use that money towards his new car...if you want to get rid of it so badly. ;)

Sell me some brand new TotalOne's and one100's and it's all yours!

For those who are trying out heel lifts, are your skates profiled/contoured forward already? or what are your skates profiled to if they are?

just wondering

thx

never profiled or contoured my skates. Just have always felt that in supreme skates I'm falling backwards.

heel lifts are more practical than contouring. heel lifts can be removed if you don't like em, contoured skates are more annoying to undo.

also, one bad sharpening and your $35 contouring goes down the drain.

For the $$$ those skates had better be incredible. Sounds like they're really nice so far from your posts.

Sorry for the semi-hijack but after seeing your bag, I think you should make a template so members can add their name/# and print it out for their bags. I'd rock one and support the site.

I'm just blown away by the liner. I finished my game 2.5 hours ago and my skates are practically dry already. They're a little damp but not soaked like my skates normally are.

I thought you ran your store?

What store?

I haven't bought for a store in 2 years.

Not to mention, who anointed you to bust my balls? I don't even know you - do you see me doing that to you?

I went to the store today and saw the TotalOnes. Jesus Christ they were light. The display model was a size 7.5D, it was lighter than my tennis shoe (weighed them in both hands, it's an actual heavy-duty tennis shoe, not a cross-trainer. also it was pretty drenched from a tournament). Those skates make me wish I had $800 lying around

Not to muddy up this topic but has anyone bought the one100's?

I am still waiting for my LHS to call me so I can go and pick up some TotalOne's for me and one100's for my daughter. Curious if anyone has used the one100's?

I cant help you yet, but later this week I'll have a pair. I bought a pair of One95s on closeout and immediately had a warranty issue with the right boot. LHS called on Thursday and said that Bauer had just sent a pair of One100s as replacement for me. I'm out of town now so cant pick them up till Tuesday and let you know what I think. So I ended up with a brand new pair of One100s for the $285 closeout price of the One95s.

At this point I might even see if the LHS will allow me to pay the difference and trade up to a TO and have myself a sub $500 pair of TOs. :D

Talking to a manager at the Hockey Shop he said that as they were so limited in what they could get they agreed that there would be no discounts on the price ($849.99) and that staff could not buy a pair. I've heard otherwise for stores like Cyclone Taylor though.

Got our first TO custom in today. Try to get pics when he's off the ice.

What was custom on it?

Off the top of my head: Clarino lining, Bauer bump mod, double-stitch, LS2 runner, 4EEEE width, X-Stiff boot. Might have been more. Kudos to Bauer for getting it done so quickly.

The biggest things were added stiffness, width and Haglunds mod.

So has anyone seen any price differences yet? Anyone asking more than $800 or dare I say anyone offering them for less? :o

ya, I paid 740 for my pair. Wasn't sure why but that's how much they were asking for the TO's

Do I dare post what I got mine for?

I work part time for a hockey store and we were in a limited supply of 1 or 2 per size.

BTW wore them in a pick up game last night and came from a Graf 705. Awesome skates. Gotta get used to the stiffness of the boot.

I've got to be honest, there are more guys picking up these skates than a lot of folks predicted. I guess they're not as cost prohibitive as people were predicting.

They just make the skate with that part punched out in the heel. This guy has golf balls on the back of his heels.

I know; Bauer said they were a one time order, I wouldn't be too surprised if they offered a skate at this level in the vapor next year, or re-released the TO's next season.

Wow, why would you live with that. There is surgery available to correct that.

I just had my steel profiled by the guys at "no icing sports" and it made all the difference in the world for me. It was easier than lifts for me.
