U+ cl vs 8.0.8 vs 10k

Im in need of some new sticks and was looking at picking up a three pack of pro sticks off HM. All the same price, haven't tried any of them and just un-aware of which ones are considered the best performing sticks of the three. Whats your in-put?

Go for the CLs or 10Ks.

Both light & cool, where as the 8.0.8 may be light, but it definitely isn't cool.

i enjoyed both my fused and ops 10k's i felt that my fused one gave more power on slappers while ops got them off faster.

What they seem to be is light as fark. ;)

Decals are different and the grip coating on them seems to feel and look like the coating on my Vapor XX from a few years back. These are Pro Stock L. Wilson after all.

Pro stock is not retail, don't be confused, they are almost heavier and often, better balanced. Durability on pro stock sticks is truly a game of roulette, as is knowing what you'll get until you see it.

I ordered one of the Gonchar CLs and it is a repaint of a 10k most likely.

This maybe true, but I came from S11's before this and they lasted 4 mths before the blade cracked and fell apart. In otherwords what's the difference betwen what you just said GXC and my S11 experience?

So if the U+ CL can best that effort I will be happy. :)

If most of the U+cl are 10k's then basically, which is considered a better stick? the 10k or the 8.0.8?

While we're on the subject, does anybody know what the 85 flex righty Michalek pattern looks like on the U+ CL? Same as the one picture posted on PatternDB? They don't have a picture of Gilroy's either, but I'm assuming it's a heel curve.

8.0.8 is a love or hate thing, so unless you try it *shrug*

but 10ks a very solid stick

Is there a way to tell whether they are CLs or 10ks? Or At least does any one knows what is the worst stick you can get? I've got 6 of those HM PRO STOCK CL's (2 H-11 lefties, 2 H-11 righties and 2 Gilroy which is slightly milder version of H-11) and almost every one seams different and none look/feel like retail CLs. What I have noticed is that gilroys has ridiculously sticky grip(stronger than my elite grip), standard shaped shaft, no visible weaves under the paint and are the lightest(although they are the only ones with 85 flex) what makes me think it's repainted 10k. Now, the rest of them are Rome, "en blanco", Lisin and FC U-LITE(Fischer?). The Last one is pretty much like gilroy without grip which is a little bit confusing taking into account the way it's signed. First three have visible weaves throughout the shaft, first two have concave shaft walls.

CAmmon, when did you order your Gonchar prostock CL? Cause I was trying to get it like 2 weeks ago and they(HM) told me they ran out of all the 85 lefties already and it's been two weeks and they still have them on the drop-down list...

I take that back, grip is just like the one on my easton synergy elite grip.

My L.Wilson's are very thin too, allot thinner then Easton blades thats for sure.

Every one of my 6 CLs has blade that thin except for Rome which is probably still thinner than Easton blades. Some of them get '07 Macdaddy thick at the bottom of the blade though:)

for what its worth, the two U+ CL pro stocks that i've played with felt extremely off balance (very blade heavy). both broke just above the taper and within a couple weeks. i LOVED the super thin blade though.
