Full glass isn't bad, sometimes though it has partitions that stick out so even pucks fired low around the boards will take crazy bounces. And on the occasion you get hit into them there's zero give.

I think what Mack was saying is that if you wanted to start a thread to show off your roller gear you should have just started one with pics, and not one with text. Also, he was saying that if you wanted one to just critique other people then you're in the wrong place.

As I think has been pointed out multiple times in this thread, the general idea behind threads like these and this board in general is to talk about stuff you like, not to bust on other people for what they have and can afford and need at their playing level.

You don't know this kid. If you don't like his choice of equipment, fine. If you feel really strongly about it, post about it on your myspace or something. There's no need to be calling people out because you think that what they are wearing isn't cool enough.

I can safely say that the biggest gripe people have about inline is that it seems there is this giant push for style over substance. There's no reason to give more weight to that.

It's not a lecture. This isn't PHEW and it's not about critiquing someone's gear. If you want a thread to show off people's equipment then don't rip into them when they post. Like Mack said this is a reputable site and not a daycare.

And, like start_today said, if you just want to critique people or put them down over what they have and what they like, take it elsewhere.

It's not about how much you should spend, but try to show something interesting or out of the ordinary. And critiquing is just like, keep pants not taped or flop tounges for example, nothing do with money.

You're going to tell a guy how to wear his gear? Cause not flopping is gay right? Go read the first three to four pages of the ice hockey show it off thread and then maybe you'll get what I'm trying to say.

My biggest point is that what's interesting or out of the ordinary to you may be be pretty normal to someone else, and vice versa. The common consensus in the show it off thread is that if you don't like something, don't post, and if you do like something then feel free to let the OP know. No point putting someone down just cause they may like something a certain way.

Not to go too far off topic, but you've posted pics of you in KOR Shift 2's and Bauer One95's. Since you've used both, I'm curious, how do they compare? They both use a similar zero negative space concept and are very responsive to heat. Did one perform noticeably better than the other or are they similar?
