Blackhawks equipment video

Gee, Keith is "insane" about his equipment? What a shock. This is the same guy that was blaming his poor performance lately on his skates and not on the fact that he doesn't have Seabrook covering for him anymore thanks to all their injuries on the blue line.

Glasses not so much. Particle mask deffinately. Nothing like blowing your nose and having black snot.

TBL - those are JRZ bags.

Good old Clint. Good to see him in the Show.

Clint was the asst EQM for the Orlando Solar Bears, and head EQM for the Orlando Seals. Great guy - haven't seen him in years.

It looks like a pretty tough job...to say the least

I can't imagine touching all that soggy gear (which aren't mine! lol)

But I guess thats what it takes to be a true gear whore...Or is it the other way 'round??

Maybe gear whores shouldn't even feel it as work in the first place?? (That would take me off the list!)

Anyway, keep up the good work, Mr.JR!!

Thanks for posting this. Kane didn't seem too polite. Seems very high maintenance. I wonder what would happen if they didn't pack someone's gear?

My sons mite team got to skate in between periods at the Wild-Hawks game wednesday. before the game as the kids were bringing their gear to a locker room we turn a corner and there is Kane and a few other players getting loose. When Kane saw the kids coming he jumped off of the exercise bike he was riding and gave each of the kids a high 5 and said something like " I sure hope we dont have to play you guys". It really was a great thing for him to do, and all of the other Hawk players that were there were great as well.

Nice! It's always great to hear about athletes taking time out of their day to spend time with the kids that look up to them. What's funny is, Kane is so young that he was prob in the same role not too long ago LOL

After talking to the same guy for 2(?) years every day about your gear I think being quick and to the point is just fine. All he asked was whether or not his stick was broken. The equipment manager offered to take the tape off and double check. Don't really see how you got impolite out of that 2 second interaction.

On another note, do the players throw the equipment guys a few bucks at the end of the year or is it all just considered part of the job?
