OEM and Hockeytron

That's true in some cases... I would have no problem wearing hockey tron shins or shoulders (assuming the only difference is the name), but I don't think I would ever wear gloves with "TRON" writtern on the in huge letters.

Thanks for the pic! Regarding the visors, did you get the S10/S20/S30? How is the anti-fog/scratch working and holding up? I figure at that price I was just going to get a pile of the anti-fogs and use a new one whenever i get a nick. Also, what's the most comparable shape vs an Oakley or Bauer visor?

I got the Anti-Scratch....loving it so far

It is very comparable to Bauer...lines up similar to my Itech

Just like a picture of the socks laid out on the ground, a close up of the fabric/seams, a close up of the embroidered logo, and maybe one of you wearing it over a shin pad if it's not too much trouble.

Here are some more pictures of the socks and the visor and a little review.

Socks are one pair of SK100 Dry fit Black, the other is the SK200 Team Dry fit Tampa bay. First thing to notice is the difference between the picture on their site and what I got on the Tampa bay is the design. Not really a big deal to me but something to note.

The thing that bothered me is the difference in size. I knew that the sk100's are 28''and the sk200's are 30'' but I didn't think they would get much looser. I really liked the tight feel of the sk100's and was disappointed with the the sk200's.

Overall quality seem's great. I've been skating in the sk100's for a couple of weeks now and no tears or anything. I can't tell puck marks because of them being black and I just used the white ones for sticks and pucks this morning. Like others have said they are nice and breezy and comfortable.

The visor I really can't give a review on it because I haven't used it yet and this will be my first one ever(always caged). It's the S10 anti scratch.

These are large pictures also.

Those work alot better than what I took on my iPad lol thanks for bailing me out :)

Think I'm going to order an LE stick today, trying to decide if it's worth it to pay $80 and get a free basic with it or pay $65 and just get the LE

I'd say it depends on how many sticks you have in your garage. If you really need a back-up, sounds like a good deal. But if it's just going to be your 7th best stick, why waste even $15?

Yea the blade on blue ice nano that I have been using since last January finally went soft/has started to develop a crack. So either that thing was a super tank or I am not that hard on sticks anymore. And from what I've read on here, the basic should be a capable backup.

Well, I suppose I should say that I scored a goal in my first game with my all-black Tron 405. And I'm not exactly known for scoring goals (I'm easily the worst player in the league). Is that some kind of good luck?

The 8090 gloves fit similar to PPFs but they aren't as nice. I didn't seem to feel any plastics for protection in the backrolls and fingers and whatnot. (even though the site says they are there) the thumb seems really long for some reason, palm seems ok at best, overall feel is somewhat cheap feeling. I wouldn't buy them.

Just got a pair in the mail yesterday. I'll agree with most of the comments. Palms feel a bit chunky, the build quality isn't the best... however, they are still comfortable and most definitely have plastic inserts in the backrolls/fingers. Compared to my bauer 4-rolls I bought last year, the tron 8090's seem lighter, but I prefer the palms and feel of my Bauers, Since the regular price of the 4-rolls and 8090's are close, no question I would opt for the 4-rolls. However, I got the 8090's on a 1-day special for $40... at that pricepoint, i don't think I could get anything better.

I also picked up a pair of Tron 10 junior inline skates for my 8 year old. They have a few cosmetic blemishes, but are a nice stiff skate that I'm sure he'll love.

Haha well, considering I don't know how to shoot a puck yet, it was pretty awesome. I fought my way free in front of the net, and my linemate threw a saucer pass in between some legs in front of the net, and I banged it in. Beautiful pass!

They claim the palm is MSH2. Is it even close to that?

Don't own any gloves with MSH2, but the color and feel is very similar to the clarino palms on my four rolls. I noticed the hockeytron description also claims msh2 gussets, but they are actually a standard stretch material for the gussets.
