danno25nh 3 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 Can you confirm that that suffix doesn't contain malware?A URL doesn't contain malware. The site it points to might, but the suffix itself doesn't.
camhockey16 5 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 to view some media on that page requires you to install a plugin called xvidsetup.exe - how much do you want to bet its a virus or spyware?some stuff on there works - you just have to be really careful what you click on.. EBondo 233 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 Most of the stuff on it is good. When it wants to install a program I've never heard of I stay away from the link. I've never had a problem with it in the year plus I've been using it though.

Trooper 8 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 As convenient as those sites were, there's not much question they're blatantly illegal.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 As convenient as those sites were, there's not much question they're blatantly illegal. Many of them were not based in the US, so their laws aren't the same. In fact, the Spanish government is really upset about at least one of the seizures.
camhockey16 5 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 another reason for the sites existence is that some of the channels you can't get, even if you wanted to pay for them because of blackouts or your cable company not carrying the channel.
Lee-Bro 1 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 Just because your market doesn't carry a channel or specific programming, doesn't make pirate broadcasting right. Blackouts and carrier restrictions are not censorship or government intervention.
camhockey16 5 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 didn't say it was "right" or "wrong" i just said that is one of many reasons why the site exists
Chadd 916 Report post Posted February 13, 2011 Sites like ATDHE exist for a number of reasons, among them is the failure of many broadcasters to address the desire of customers/viewers to have content available via the internet.
Lee-Bro 1 Report post Posted February 13, 2011 Sites like ATDHE exist for a number of reasons, among them is the failure of many broadcasters to address the desire of customers/viewers to have content available via the internet.I understand that. But there are other online subscription services for legitimate (authorized) distribution of games. A broadcast is still a product that cost money to produce. Unauthorized distribution = theft.Am I glad there are alternative options available? Yes. Do I like the bootleg aspect of some of these? No.As a former musician who has had his work illegally distributed, I'm pretty opinionated on this. (No, I am not secretly Lars Ulrich)

That should never be the case with their online service. Cable, Ok I can see that being the case but never with the online service. Defeats the entire purpose of having it. I have both NHL.com Gamecenter AND the Center Ice package.

Cable, Ok I can see that being the case but never with the online service. Defeats the entire purpose of having it. I have both NHL.com Gamecenter AND the Center Ice package.I live in NJ and I have Verizon Fios. because MSG is owned by Cablevision (cable company/direct competitor) I cannot watch The Devils in HD. I have Center Ice, Game Center, and Game Center mobile. All I can watch is out of market games. It was pretty cool when I was in Aruba 2 weeks ago and could watch Devils poolside lol.
