I had a pair of one 95's as well as my new pair of APX. It is hard to compare as my one95's did not fit quite right. But all in all they are very similar just a completely different fit. I am much more agile than I have ever been and forward flex and heel lock are light years better in my APX. I am not really sure what else to say. My feet are never wet in the APX where as it was a lake inside my one95's.

anyone know if a limited edition of the apx is coming out?

No, there will be a limited edition vapor x7:0 in black and white or something like that

Match an APX to an X:60 or 7.0. The APX is not a "fairly low cut skate." I did this myself during a custom boot fitting.

Fair enough, looks low cut when I've seen it in my LHS, but probably just an optical illusion, never actually compared it side by side to other skates.

Is it actually more flexible in forward motion or is it just the difference in pitch? Not that it makes a difference for me, just looking for clarification.

It is a different fit yes, but it is definitely more forward flex in a good way.

i don't want to start a new tread but i tried on the x60s last night and everything actually felt pretty comfy except when i bend my knees forward to mimic a skating motion i noticed alot of pain where people get "bauer bumps" does this mean the skate doesn't have enough heel lock for me?

Wearing them around the house, I'm getting pressure on the top of the foot up from the toe cap. Is it possible this boot isn't deep enough for me?

Is anyone that bought this skate having any similar issues?

If I skate in them, I can't return them. I've had almost every vapor skate. I never had this issue before. Any vapor experts out there?

I have X60's and I got that pain after using them for a little bit. It seems that area is just hard plastic with only cloth covering it. So if your heel is moving due to poor heel lock for your foot shape or bit too wide in the heel it will only feel worse on the ice. I notice it most during aggressive skating. Besides the pain I was afraid Haglunds would start. I bought some eezee fit booties and they are great. Don't feel anything once on the ice and no haglunds. Temporary fix until can get a skate with a narrower heel.

you said that in april when you tried the skate... why would you even bother buying it? not because you always worn vapor that the next vapor will fit you, seems like you absolutly want to skate on apx because they are the new line of vapor, buy a skate because it fits you, not for the name.

I have a question about the APX, kinda like a small hijack of the thread. What is the Bauer Curv composite upper, is it the exact same thing as the ALIVE, or something different?

The APX fit me except for the pressure on top of my feet. I wish I knew why there was pressure there. The new tongue, or a change in the eyelet orientation. It pissed Me off. The heel lock on the apx is amazing though!
